A very friendly restaurant with fantastic service and food. A very good menu with great choice and fine dining with a great range of Austrian wine. The service and food was faultless really I don't have a bad word to say about my experience. They catered for a party of 11 guests who were all excited after completing the Vienna... More

Fantastic service with a friendly and welcoming staff; very similar to what we're accustomed to in America. We had a reservation for a table of 6 and we were largely welcomed and everyone's food/drink were perfection. We had the duck, pork tenderloin, filet, chicken, and salmon; as well as the carrot cake, nutella banana cheesecake, and chocolate cake. Couldn't have... More

My wife and I booked to eat here on our weekend in Vienna based on previous TripAdvisor comments. We are so glad as the meal and service were spectacular. This relatively small restaurant isn't in the tourist part of the city so you have to take the trouble to find it but it's well worth the effort (and about a... More

Not much to say, I cant wait when I have a chance to eat here again and to get a new surprise. From soup till desert everything superb. The cocktails alcoholic/non alcoholic are very creative and colourful.

We booked on line and were warmly greeted, taken through the menu and entertained with some wine tasting. The food was beautifully presented, very well cooked and tasted great. We would recommend the duck and beef cheeks.

A little out of the center but worth a cab ride. We always go here first when we are in Vienna. Creative, somewhat Hungarian food. SUPERB cocktails (try them all), but also a great Hungarian merlot. Small and unassuming but the place to eat: foie brulee; goat cheese with pear; salmon soup. Daniel gave us legendary service.

This fantastic restaurant was the highlight of our dining during a 6-day stay in Vienna. The ambience is great and the staff make you feel welcome from the first minute. The food menu is just the right length to prompt a selection. There are also dishes of the day that may not be included in the menu, which the waiter... More

Their menu is fantastic, the wines are carefully selected and the service is definitely professional and really friendly at the same time. Last but not least, they have absolutely reasonable prices.

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
