Booked a table here after reading the trip advisor reviews. It didn't disappoint, the food was delicious and the waiters were helpful in recommending the best dishes when trying to decide. All the waiters were friendly and had a smile on their face which always adds to the service. I would highly recommend a visit here if in Vienna.

This was one of the best meals of our trip! The food was outstanding and the cocktails delicious too. The service went above and beyond, special mention to our waiter Janos who was friendly, professional and helpful- giving great recommendations and even called us a taxi when it was raining at the end of the night. A perfect experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here although I did find the steak to be quite fatty! That's due to the fact I had it medium done. The atmosphere was wonderful, service was good although at times we were left alone too long and we were waiting a while for the bill. Would definitely recommend as I thought the food was reasonably... More

After reading about the Mini restaurant in Vienna my husband took me out to this fabulous restaurant. It was located about 1.3 km from our hotel so we walk to the restaurant. What a lovely time we had. The waiters were so attentive. We shared a calamari starter and we both ordered the duck risotto which was delicious. The waiter... More

Best restaurant I've been during my Vienna holidays. Staff is professional, local is very nice and proposed Hungarian food and wine are outstanding. Strongly recommended.

This restaurant has firmly joined the list of my favourites in Vienna. It's a small, cosy restaurant outside of the traditional tourist areas that is staffed by some very fun, kind and passionate foodies! We had a lovely meal which we found extremely tasty and very creative in a relaxed atmosphere where we were really well taken care of. If... More

We visited Mini for a late lunch and enjoyed a table under a canopy in the outside area. Our waiter was articulate and charming, happy to steward us but I'm pleased to report that he did so without dominating us as can occasionally be the approach in Austria(/Germany). My request to exclude dairy content from my meal due to allergies... More

The food was amazing, well served and very tasty. We ate carpaccio as starter and the beef and the duck as main dishes. Very good relationship price-quality. Do not lose the opoortunity to go when visiting Viena!

We've been there on a Sunday night without reservation, the small restaurant was fully booked, but the very friendly staff managed to provide us a nice table within 15 minutes, which we bridged with a nice cocktail at the bar. Food as superb, Hungarian haut-cuisine. Try the foie-gras if you fancy goose liver. There is no special recommendation, everything is... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
