When you finish to see the wonderful Hunderwasser museum I would recommend to visit this restaurant. I get good Cesar salat but my daughter took great pizza with blue cheese. It was delicious! The restaurant has also vegan dishes in it's menu.

Tian has such potential as an establishment and offers a unique molecular cuisine experience that is rare to find in Vienna. Sadly, the service that Tian displays does not balance the culinary journey this restaurant has to offer. Tian's service culture is at best average and lacks the same care and attention that the kitchen places in preparing the meal... More

I am very happy to see that Tian has evolved into a true Michelin-star level restaurant. The food is, as always, superb and service was excellent, too. The chef clearly knows how to extract the most amazing flavor combinations from the different vegetable dishes. The wine pairings are excellent, too. Particularly noteworthy are the amazing desserts which combine interesting ingredients... More

After a long and very beautiful tourist day at Vienna, we closed at Tian with a 6 course food tasting including wine. The atmosphere was really nice and service was friendly all the time despite our tired faces and tourists looks. The experience of tastes was amazing, and for each course respective and perfect wine was selected. Even at the... More

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were attentive & friendly without being intrusive. Every dish was described in detail & the taste combinations were pretty consistently quite special. We had the 6 course tasting menu with a bottle of wine which was easily enough for people with good appetites. Not sure how anybody would manage to walk... More

We went here for a 3 course lunsj menu and was not at all disappointed. It was an A+ meal from start to Finnish and the most memorable for me was the tastiest mushroom risotto I have ever eaten. Whereas for my girlfriend the pasta dish cooked to absolute perfection was a highlight.

My 6 course meal was amazing. I've never had vegetarian gastronomic style food before and this was such an experience! Well worth the $123 Euros spent (it included a class of wine that was 8 euros). The dessert was a lot of fun, super creative. Overall it was such a fun experience, the service was great and the restaurant is... More

We were excited to try this restaurant after all the meat we had been eating during our trip. This restaurant has one of those menus were it lists a couple of ingredients only so you are never really sure what you are getting. Every single dish had amazing flavor and we were blown away! Everyone was super friendly and helpful... More

I enjoyed my meal here. I would give it excellent marks for service and presentation. However, the food flavors just fell a little short for me (especially when they got a little weird in their combinations...chocolate and mushroom for dessert? YUCK). It was also very expensive. I think it got it's Michelin 1 star because of the very nice presentation... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
