Not mind blowing, but nice. Very unique, though a bit expensive. we had the menu and most of the items were very good, and all in all worth going one time.

We have went for the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was really good, innovative would be the word to describe it. Too bad that the wines were far from matching. Each wine was good by itself, but they really were not complimenting the food, nor were they served in right order. There is certainly great space... More

There are people with many different things on their bucket list - jump out of airplane, claim Kilimanjaro, visit Great Wall of China, etc. TIAN should be on every foodie's list, regardless whether you are vegetarian, vegan or meat eater. Having 6, 8, 10 or 12 course dinner paired with suggested wines complementing each meal is a very unique experience,... More

No need to introduce TIAN (the only Michelin-starred veggie restaurant in Vienna). I had been there before for a full menu dinner but now for the first time for lunch. Definitely a great deal @ 35 Euros for three courses plus some nice tidbits before and after. Amazing what can be produced out of nuts, mushrooms, lemon, berries, risotto. Neither... More

We went there for lunch and were glad with our decision. Very friendly staff. I really enjoyed the mushroom risotto. Would really recommend the same to everyone. My wife has the pasta which was good, but nothing great.

In a very nice and warm atmosphere this restaurant served a amazing ten (10) dish menu. All presented as their own painting. See the pictures of the "Red sunset" and the dessert "Sunny side up". If you choose the "Wine explore" to accompany the dishes your taste buds will have a challange. This kinded of food and drink experience does... More

It's a quiet fine dining restaurant with options for 6-8 course meals. It's a bit overwhelming. Great wine options are also available. Presentation of the food is beautiful. By request, they also prepared food for my infant. It's nice setup with friendly staff. You can be as specific about your preferences and they will ensure you enjoy your meal

From the warm welcome, through the entirety of a 10-course, wine-paired meal, Tian did not disappoint. Non-vegetarians need not worry. You will be swept up in the flavors, textures, and unusual, yet well-balanced combinations. Wine selections were spot on, and momentum built so that you are eagerly anticipating each new dish. Best of all were the more unusual flavors that... More

They have 6, 8 or 12 course menu. We chose the 6 course menu (you cannot share your meal), it was very delicious and interesting and they were very welcoming and generous. As a meat eater, I didn't feel like I missed a thing. It was a glimpse in to virtuosity of food making, trying new shapes, flavors and textures... More

Beautiful building, friendly staff. We took the quick lunch option. After a light starter I received my main dish gnocchi with green beans and tomato sauce. It was delicious. Upon waiter's advice I gave a try to a dessert (I am often disappointed by desserts, too sweet or too heavy) : Belle Hélène pear with chocolate pie was splendid !... More

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
