Very nice traditional interior. Good menu and the food is great. Wiener schnitzel is lovely and the portion very large. The pork tenderloin kebab is enormous and will probably defeat most diners with the accompanying rice and vegetables. Prices are very reasonable for both food...More

We had a great lunch here with our great friendly host Maik. Had a very tasty Gröstel (traditional meal with local herbs, potato and ham). Great interior with suits of armour and swords on the walls, definitely will be back next time I'm in Vienna!

Stumbled onto this place after our first option was full and since this was close to our hotel we thought we'd give try. Service definitely has room for improvement, decor is a bit shabby and requires some tlc, food was good on the whole but...More

Traditional not too clean place, just one waiter serving dinner for 15 people. The food was not freshly made but still the small of deep fried poil was all over. We were just happy we did not order a bottle of wine to go with...More

Visited in April 2016. Nothing special. Food was average. Service however was slow and restaurant seemed quite understaffed.

Food wad really delicious. I recommended grilled chicken. The headwaiter was different to communicate with :) but not bad. Prices are really good regarding Vienna prices. We paid 35 euros for 3 main dishes and 2 Cola.

We tried the pumpkin soup which was great and some pumpkin covered steak which was ok. The strudel was much better than in other Viennese restaurants, which are generally serving good strudels, too. One plus for the service, very nice and friendly, still precise and professional.

Very poor experience. Food consisted of, what appeared and tasted like, deep fried frozen meals and service was appalling. We had to help ourselves to menus, wait 20 minutes before our order was taken and then when our food eventually arrived we had to remind...More

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

Since 1981, the Neubauschenke is a family run business. We also owns a restaurant in Florida. Both have one goal: make her guests feel at home, let them enjoy fine austrian food and have a good time.
