Nice meal, nice place, good wine and beer. Pleasant moment. Walking around Viena, we have chosen to eat there and we were very happy

High colors, sophisticated, delicious. A comfortable spot in the middle of everything. Perfect for a quick drink, a snack, surrounded by young locals.

We came across this bar by coincidence and sat down for aperitivo. We took some great local wines and snacks, Enjoyed the music, relaxed, and just had a good time there.

Went to 1010 on a Saturday night. Waiters have that "Viennese charm" - you either like it or not but I think it's fine for a bar. They serve a wide range of drinks, and the bartenders are very helpful in creating something that meets your taste. The crowd is quite mixed - very young people, but also quite a... More

K.u.K. Café-Konditorei Kärntner Straße 21-23 1010 Wien Austria Great Austrian food, cakes , with an excellent staff & service. My recommendation is for an apple strudel with hot vanilla sauce. see: http://www.heiner.co.at/ or search at Google+

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
