Just came by and wanted to try something else. The selection is quite good and they guide you through the menu card so you can make a good personal choice. The taste is very good and if you like they can add more spice into the dish to make it more authentic. The price is also okay so only the... More

Great, genuine, tasty Vietnamese food in this family run restaurant. Started off as a small stand in the market and with the growing popularity they moved a few years ago to a proper restaurant on this location. Whether you like fish, meat, or you're vegan, there is something delicious for everyone ( and they are flexible enough usually to accommodate... More

Walk by all the time and finally decided to stop for dinner. Had the rice noodle and beef, with vegetables (13.50 Euro), a 0.5 liter Trumer (4.50 Euro) and grilled banana's (5.90 Euro), 24 Euro's. For the second District that is pricey as you can get the same food cheaper, even in the first District. It was good food, service... More

This is not the great dine out place. It is a family owned, managed, served and cooked restaurant, the kind of place you go locally for decent and honest food at reasonable prices. Service was busy, yet always friendly as one would expect.

We have known this restaurant for a few years, when was located in Naschmarkt and we followed it, as loyal customers, to their new location , near Karmelitermarkt (my favourite market in Vienna). Being a big fun of Vietnamese food, we have tried almost. every item of the relatively short menu. What I like? The wide rice noodles with beef,... More

I had summer rolls with chicken and the beef pho. Both, especially the pho, were delicious. The place has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.

Average vietnamese cuisine. Rude service, was kept waiting for ages by the waitresses who seemed understaffed and overworked. They refused me ice with my drink and lemon with my food. Not once did they smile or look welcoming.

The restaurant looks quite nice and the customer service was pretty good. I ordered the pho which already came with all the herbs added to it which I didn't care for much. The selection was limited compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Vienna, but the price was rather decent. All in all, not bad.

Just trying to have something a bit more exotic I came across this restaurant. Nice staff and menu in English. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the food in the slightest, everything was very vinegar based! Overpriced for what's on offer

This was recommended by a local and did not disappoint! If you want great, reasonably priced Viet food then you can't go wrong here. The vegetarian spring rolls in particular were just pure heaven - the best spring rolls I've ever tasted! One thing to bear in mind though is that they only accept cash...much like many of the restaurants... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
