We stopped for a mid afternoon snack on our way back from the museum quarter. The friendly girl behind the counter offered to run through the flavours in English for me, which was so nice. They have some vegan flavours, and they currently sweeten with beet sugar. It was €1.50 for a small cup.

Went two days ago and got the raspberry ice cream in a cone. It was 1.50euro which was great, and the ice cream tasted amazing! They let you taste whichever you like before buying, and are nice and friendly.

I guess they claim that their ice cream is home made but yes Pistachios and Pumpkin seeds choice is out of the world. Sweetness is just perfect like not any other Gelatos or ice cream parlours in Vienna. A must place to visit.

There was a small queue on the pavement for this place but it moved quickly. The ice cream was delicious. You could taste the wholesomeness of the organic cream. Highly recommend it. Not much of a wait and the staff are very helpful. The flavors were in German so they gladly translated for us so that we could choose. :)

Even if their ice cream is organic and has fancy tastes, it is never worn it to stand in a line of approximately 20 people blocking the sidewalk just for a scoop of ice cream

You stand in line.... the line is shorter on rainy days and in winter. But it's always worth the wait. The tiny walk in walk out store has amazing ice cream made with organic milk and natural fresh ingredients. I particularly like the pear ice cream and an ice cream named "horse apples"- the Austrian term for... well, you know.... More

The Eis Greissler seems to be very popular since it opened a couple of years ago, but to be honest I can't see what the fuss is all about. I tried since it was popular, I had to stand in a Queue for quite a while (15 min for sure) but, honestly, the ice cream is nothing Special. Yes, it... More

Icecream that tastes like the name suggests. Pear tastes like a pear, chocolate like chocolate and so on. Dare to try the more 'adventurous' ones like pumpkin seed oil or 'horse droppings. Don't let the sometimes long queues dissuade you, it moves quickly.

Really excellent ice cream flavours! But the usual long waiting times can be annoying, especially with kids. Either visit during unpopular hours or after a meal for a dessert. There's practically no place to sit so plan to grab the ice cream on the go.
