Vienna 2015

Very good food. Nice staff. Excellent and quick service. Pizza was very good. Also very close to Palais Palffy and other high street shops in Vienna.

The food is OK in general. The staff impolite and indifferent. Even the manager never came when we asked him to. They also only accept cash. A bad experience in general

My family and I were looking for a nice Italian restaurant to have dinner. We saw the menu posted outside the restaurant and decided to give it a try. Once seated, the waitress ignored us for a very long time. My husband got up to ask for some water and she yelled at him! When she finally came to our... More

Food was great, service was great. Pizza Margherita was outstanding. A great escape from many days of schnitzel.

We had dinner at this restaurant with one rocket salad and two pasta. They are simple and nicely cooked. We are quite pleased

A small restaurant off a side street near the Albertina. We were looking for something different from all the Austrian dishes and decided to try Italian. The room were we sat included a large pizza oven, and the smells were wonderful. The pizzas looked good, however we ordered two pasta dishes. Both pasta dishes were well prepared, and the spinach,... We enjoyed a fine meal here that was reasonably priced. I had grilled calamari and my wife had tortellini in a wonderful truffle cream sauce. Wine selection was adequate. Soups were good but not great. Service was good but not overly pleasant or engaging.

Authentic Italian dishes in excellent quality and wide variety; sitting in cosy old vaults and being served friendly and quickly.

Being Italian, one thing I always dread is eatiing Italian food abroad. However, I was positively surprised when having entered into the place. very authentic, folksy Ambiente. The staff was friendly and spoke Italian, which made one feel at home (compared to all the pseudo Italian Food chains where no one is Italian). The food was very good for Viennese-Italian... More

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
