Big restaurant near the city centre. Here you can find traditional food but even hamburger and grilled meat. Beer is brewed here and the prices aren't expensive. Only negative note is the service, the waiters aren't kindly and a little bit unpolite.

So we saw the good reviews on trip advisor and thus far trip advisor hasn't let me down. Tonight we did not enjoy our experience and therefore did not even order. We got to the restaurant already extremely tired from a long day. I lived in Germany for a while and speak a low level amount of German but enough... More

Try all kinds of beer...all worth the "effort"; if you want to eat all kind of food are very well preparated and in veeery large quantities. Excellent value for money. Friendly and very operative staff.

Slow service as is a tourist haven. But put up with it and you will be rewarded with a great range of beers and typical food.

Googled "best beer in Vienna" before going and dragged my family in there for a late lunch. Wonderful beer, friendly prices, helpful staff, nice atmo. Highly recommended.

Crispy and tender it truly is one of the best I've ever eaten. The käsespätzle is also delicious but very cheesy/saucy/rich. Also a microbrewery so the beer is supposed to be good...I just don't like beer.

The food is delicious and the portions are big. The beer is Amazing!!! I was surprised by the hot (like peppery) beer. I could not drink mine till the end without help and a lot of food :D What I also liked was the fact that there is a vending machine at the exit so you can buy a beer... More

I've been here several times with my friends. Every time the food was very good, the wating time is around 15 minutes. You can try here some traditional soups, Wiener schnitzel and Mexican spare ribs. The restaurant has it's own brand of artisanal beers, and if you enjoyed them you can buy 0.5l bottles from a beer machine for reasonable... More

The beers here are delicious, unique, and special. While we did not eat here, the menu was extensive and all the dishes around us looked wonderful. The service was efficient, they have a large outdoor eating area. This is well worth a visit for beer lovers and those looking for authentic Austrian food.

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
