If you are looking for some authentic chinese food then you should come here. The food is very flavorful and I always feel like I'm back in Hong Kong.

We went here quite late on a Sunday night as it wasn't far from where we were staying. It was pretty empty though I don't know why!! We had read there was a menu for several dishes with one set price but unfortunately they didn't have that menu in English but all other menus were. I had the crispy chicken... More

Hong Kong Grill House Restaurant is owned/run by a Chinese couple. They specialise in Guang Dong cuisine. The dishes are good and less expensive compared with other chinese restaurant. This restaurant is well-known amongst the chinese/asians in Vienna because they roast their own good-tasting crispy duck, BBQ pork and Roast Pork (Char Siew). The indoor furnishings are not that great;... More

The grilled duck is wonderful here. They also have a 13 euro menu that includes a soup, two dishes, and rice. The grilled duck is one of the options.

I was craving Chinese food during my tour to Vienna and my boyfriend sent me this link. I went with my coworker and WOW, very authentic Chinese, especially HK dishes. They have a very good variety of dishes. And very tasty too! PS. All dishes I ordered were vegetarian - but my coworker really enjoyed his broccoli with beef.

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
