Fantastic food, lovely decor, very busy which was a good sign! Would return again. Friendly staff and something a bit different as not many Thai restaurants in Vienna!

We have been visiting Restaurant Bangkok for a couple of years. It is one of the best Thai restaurant in Vienna, which offers authentic Thai food. We recently visited the restaurant with our guests. We ordered Veg Spring Rolls, Spicy Tofu and Papaya Salad (a house speciality) as starters. For main course, we ordered Thai red curry with vegetables ,... More

Really enjoyed our meal and experience in Bangkok - Vienna. The food was extremely tasty and flavourable, and price reasonable. Definitely recommend the duck and ginger dish! The staff were friendly and gave good advice on the menu. Would definitely visit here again.

Had a great meal here, excellent vegetarian options. The baked tofu starters was cooked to perfection. It certainly lived up to the reviews. Highly recommended!

Very nice staff, food and feeling/atmosphere of restaurant. Relaxing music and nice lighting of rooms. I do recommend food from duck section.

Great food, lots of options and very spicy. You can ask for different levels of spicy too which is nice. Usually most places are not spicy enough or make it too spicy but just throwing chilis in but they know how to cook with thai chilies perfectly and create deliciously spicy meals. Also very friendly and attentive staff. You never... More

Thai food at this restaurant was very good and recommendable. Good Pad Thai and curry dishes. Spring rolls were also excellent. Drinks were reasonably priced. Lychee prosecco on the house at the end of the meal is a nice touch. If I'd known how delicious Lychee prosecco was I would've ordered it as an aperitif!

OMG! What a find. The reviews say this place has great food. They're not wrong. We ate here twice and on each occasion the food and service was top notch. It was pretty, looked good enough to eat twice over and tasted as you would have hoped. A bit kitschy I know, but you also get a hot face towels... More

Delicious foods, nice drinks and an impeccable service. Great place to have dinner. We recommend having desert and the prosecco, it rounds oit the other dishes.

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
