Slow unfriendly service and not cheap either. Food arrived at different times, part of the order was wrong and one cake didn't arrive at all. Drinks arrived long after our food, despite us asking for them numerous times and having a thirsty toddler. Cakes overpriced and disappointing. We asked for our bill three times and it still didn't arrive until... More

Very busy cafe in the centre of Vienna with an astonishing array of cakes and ice cream concoctions and a great choice of teas and coffees. The outside seating is always busy but served quickly and efficiently by the waiting staff. We had sacher torte with cream one day and it was so good we came back again the next... More

The situation is simple, everything is very nice and at home. A wide selection of desserts, baked goods and coffee for every taste, the eyes scatter) Desserts are gorgeous! And the prices are low. Prices are low, service is fast. "Aida" is almost anywhere in Vienna, so walking around the city, you can always go there for half an hour.

We were there twice in two days. Good coffe, deliciuous cakes, truffe and apfel strudel, views to street. Price was on average to any other pastry shop. Waitress dress pinks skirt, white cardigans, like american restaurants in 50's. Service was a bit slow, but ok. 1 expresso, 1 coffe with milk (giant size), 2 cakes, extra cream costed 16€. They... The best sacher ever tried!!Great location aside St Stephan Church, very convinient place if you are walking around, just do not wave the waiter , just be patient and wait until he has the time to take you order... worth the wait.

We had time to spare before going on a City Bus Tour, so called in at the Aida Cafe. The menu was vast so it was difficult to choose. We decided on Rolled Ham stuffed with cream cheese served with toast with home made Tartare Sauce and a Raspberry Bombe, served with Apple Juice & a Melange Coffee. They were... More

As usual, every my visit consists of coffee consuming at Aida. This one is not an exemption. We ordered coffee and strudel, as well as golatsche. 11 euro. A little too expensive, but nonetheless, it's Aida.

Great location, friendly service with a retro atmosphere. It was crowded, but we found a couple of tables to push together and enjoy a coffee, pastry and rest our feet. No complaints.

Several of these dotted around Vienna, seem very popular for coffee, cakes and various snacks. This branch is in the heart of Vienna, very close to St. Stephan's cathedral and the maze of pedestrianised shopping streets. Very busy when I was there but in spite of that the service was quick and efficient.. Not really condusive for a lengthy sit down eating... More

It has a 70's-80's feeling! Delicious desserts and beverages... It is a nice place to take a break after a long walk!

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
