Amazing food and atmosphere for a very reasonable price in the heart of expensive Vienna. It hasn't been easy to find a good restaurant that also has enough to offer vegetarians, and this place was just perfect for us. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Best pizza I have ever had. Great salads, highly recommended for Italian food lovers. Very large variety of pizza toppings. The owner was very kind and patient. The dessert recommended by him was fantastic.

We came here because it is close to our hotel and reviews from trip advisor. The pizza was good as well as the home made pasta. It is comparable to what you'll get in Italy. The service is excellent.

We went as a group of six; my GF, her parents and two little brothers (very fussy eaters) - and we're glad we did. The owners work there and are Italians - and it shows. Myself, my GF and one of the boys had pizza; they were delicious; very Italian, fluffy and crispy bases - not overloaded with topping, but... More

I am very particular and we ended up here twice for dinner on our 3night stay in Vienna! We loved everything! The chef even made me a special calamari dinner, just for me. Great wine too!

Let's start with the good side, the food is fine and tastes ok, however there are many good italian places in Vienna with pizza made on the wood, right? The bad fact is, that the owners totally neglect the interior and service. For me, italian food has to be enjoyed in a decent place, clean, and serviced nicely. The garden... More

My wife had the menu of the day, Ravioli, caprese salad, and profiterole. very good. the owner is Italian, from Modena. Great... More

I've been there a couple of times. I can recommend the pizza Siciliana, the pizza Calzone and the pizza Milanese, all of them tastes very good. A pizza costs about €10 and you can choose additional ingredients for a couple of euros.

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
