Lovely meal with nice views, risotto was very tasty followed by an iced coffee which was delicious. Service was good and it was reasonably priced for the setting.

The view can't really be called a view, you don't even see the nice roofs like in other rooftop cafés in Vienna. The coffee was barely warm and the price was just too high. The atmosphere is nice though.

Dine on somewhat over-salted but tasty food with a view of St Stephens and the roofs of Vienna. You're there for the view so expect to have to pay for it, but the food is of good quality. This is just 7(?) storeys up so it's not a skyscraper, but this provides a bird's eye view of the shopping district... More

We stopped off here on a City Break of Vienna and thought the location and views would be great. The views were ok, but not as stunning as hoped, but the disappointment we had was when the bill came and we were seemingly charged for 3 drinks. I queried the amount and was told a large beer was in fact... More

We would recommend going here only for drinks if you are shopping in the Steffl department store. Namely, the service is extremely slow and not to professional. We waited approximately 15min to get water and then spent additional 2 hours to complete our lunch which consisted of a soup and a salad. Just to mention, restaurant was not even half... More

A place with a great view, especially for sunset. Nice atmosphere to relax, and very good to meet friends in the evening.

Awful. staff if not really polite, and it is a humiliation when you are said that you can not stay outside just for drinks in a good weather. Bad,bad service!!

I visited the restaurant for lunch July 12. We asked the terrace table. We requested a vantage table, but the staff guided us the table of the wall side. We requested the vantage table without a tag of reservation. However, the staff said "The table have already been reserved. You are able to sit the end table (without umbrellas)." It... More

High-end clients of the upmarket department store are going for lunch or for a cafe on this last floor. In the evening the working people are coming for a drink. Many events are organised here. OK international food but the view is to remember for long.

We expected better food as their impressive name 'sky'. It was terrible and expensive. The sight was good at far distances, however at the closer scenes you see the air conditioning mess at the roofs of the buildings. Do not waste your time, Vienna has much better options for nice food.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
