A place with a great view, especially for sunset. Nice atmosphere to relax, and very good to meet friends in the evening.

Awful. staff if not really polite, and it is a humiliation when you are said that you can not stay outside just for drinks in a good weather. Bad,bad service!!

High-end clients of the upmarket department store are going for lunch or for a cafe on this last floor. In the evening the working people are coming for a drink. Many events are organised here. OK international food but the view is to remember for long.

We expected better food as their impressive name 'sky'. It was terrible and expensive. The sight was good at far distances, however at the closer scenes you see the air conditioning mess at the roofs of the buildings. Do not waste your time, Vienna has much better options for nice food.

If you want to have a drink enjoying the view of Stephen's Dom, this is a good place to do so. Excellent music, great cocktails, very good singer. If you go there early, you can sit at the veranda, which closes at 22.00.

Popped up here for after dinner drinks- the view is lovely and prices very reasonable. We sat outside and it was very pleasant. A nice spot for a night cap!

The Sky Cafe is a great place for coffee, a drink or a meal. On a nice day sitting outside will give you great views over Vienna and particularly St Stephen's Cathedral. The food is good and the service excellent. There is a separate entrance from the street, so even when the Steffi store is closed, you can get to... More

Our river cruise director recommended this restaurant, atop the Steffl Department Store, and we plus another couple enjoyed lunch there. It was too warm to sit on the deck, but we had a lovely window table. The vista is large and lovely. We all had the schnitzel, although I had the butterscnitzel, actually a veal patty. The only reason I... More

We met a friend for a drink in the evening. The setting is really nice, on the last floor of a mall. The view is nice, especially for sunset. The drinks selection was quite large and the tea was really good. However it took quite a long time for someone to take our order. We were also asked to move... More

Visited 2 weeks ago and loved the view and the incredible ceiling of the room that seems to transport itself onto the clouds above when it gets dark. Really lovely. Menu reminiscent of the nouvelle cuisine of the 1990's - small portions and lots of decoration. Wine list excellent. Music increases in volume as the evening proceeds which wasn't good... More

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
