Very friendly staff, quick service, good food. Probably a classic in the city so don't stress if you can't get a table quick, many people on the line sometimes during the night. The portions are big so try to don't get to much food before...More

Wow! Treated like royalty. We visited the Figlmueller in the alley (round the corner from the larger branch). Decided to walk around and find somewhere to book for dinner rather than hotel recommendations. We found the larger Figlmueller and it had a big queue with...More

We asked to the locals for a traditonal and good place for schnitzel and they suggested Figlmüller. I definitely agree with this suggestion because it was perfect. As a starter I took a traditional potato soup but I can say that it was not necessary....More

Figlmueller has two restaurants located downtown in the first district, close to Stephansplatz. For info, the "historical" restaurant (in the gallery) is quite small (you are often queuing for a seat inside) and doesn't serve beer. 200 m further, you can find the newer place,...More

We visited this restaurant because it was open till late and looked nice. The service was fast, friendly and good but the snitzel was very very common and the goulash nothing special. To go again only if I could not find something better.

The chicken schnitzel was nice than the pork in my opinion. Good selection and very busy. We struggled to get a reservation. Glad we went.

Very small menu, size of the schnitzel is crazy huge. Very crammed with tourists. Waiter was the typical charm less Viennese waiter.

If your wife is Austrian and cooks a great schnitzel, this place isn't so exceptional as the queues would suggest. Their tradional porc schnitzel is, however, generous and tasty. A limited selection of beer and wines plus rather abrupt service makes this a tourist haunt...More

If you like schnitzel, the one they serve here is the best you have had anywhere. Have the traditional or the chicken schnitzel with the potato salad and don't bother with anything else. You will be thrilled. We tried the apple strudel but, I am...More
