Quick lunch. Decent pizza, pleasant service. I had a buffala. It was good, overflowed the large plate.

It is a Sunday night in Vienna. Just the right temperature for the end of February and I was about to go take in a few pints at Flanagan's, but of course with a soccer match on the tele the place was packed so I rounded the corner and noticed Salieri. How I have not discovered this gem of a... More

Salieri Pizzeria was just down the street from our hotel and we decided to try it expecting a so so Italian meal in Vienna. Boy, were we surprised how good it was! Not only was it one of better dinner we had in Austria during our tour, the service and intimate dining room was excellent. There was a lot of... More

We visited on a lunchtime the restaurant was reasonably busy and we were served quickly, soups were average my starter of fried sardines with rocket and Parmesan was very good. My wife's main of gilt head sea bass was average fish was well over cooked, I opted for the steak tagliatelle which was a generous portion and delicious. Drinks are... More

Visited on 1/1/17 with friends. I found the service to be outstanding. Such attention to every detail of the dining experience was refreshing! I ordered the Prosciutto and Melon Antipasti and the Pizza Diavolo. Both were amazingly prepared and even better to eat! It's close to the city center and was a 15 minute walk from my hotel on Rennweg.... More

...and great food. Pizza, thoughtful / diverse choices and generous in size. Antipasti, flavorful and fresh. Caffe latte, delicious. Most of all, the service matches the quality of the food.

Ate dinner here with a group, and enjoyed a pleasant meal. Pizza was ok, but not as good (or as expensive) as Sole, about a block away. Portions were generous, wine was decent. Prices were modest compared to other restaurants in the area. I'd recommend for a simple meal.

Very small dishes and expensive for what you get we ordered ministrone soup and it was nothing like minestrone. the grilled plate was nothing but 4 small chunks of meat.(24€). The garlic bread was good though

We wandered into Salieri for a late lunch & had a really good meal there. Both the pasta & pizza were very good, service attentive and plenty of choice on the menu. We would definitely visit again.

Everything was perfect. Everytning was very italic. The waiter was a little bit negligent but it was fit to the italic atmosphere :)

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
