We ordered their meatloaf and mashed potatoes topped with French onions (not on the menu) and their small-portion goulash with a dumpling. It was very delicious. You won't regret it!

Menü, drinks, cuisine all 80es, finally! Go, order, relax... Eat& chill, order soup & regulars, including the sheep cheese bacon wrap with salad, not exactly Viennese but super :)

I went recently at Quell with friends, and we had a great time. It's an old-style place, but the atmosphere is still authentic and easy going. Owners are young, polite and helpful, food was good; I ordered a side dish of Homemade Fries, and they brought to me an fantastic-giant plate of DELICIOUS slices-end fried potatoes: unforgettable. So, que viva... More

This place was a great local Viennese restaurant. Make reservations, as it is a small place and gets quite packed. Everything on the menu was wonderful.

A hopping spot. They were a little confused about what to do with a solo diner. The food was good and there were plenty of vegetarian options that were also authentic Austrian cuisine.

So I have been to the Quell quite a few times by now and I just enjoy going there. It is the definition of a Austrian Gasthaus. The portions are enourmous though, so either come really hungry or order a smaller portion, they'll happily serve it to you a little ceaper. I have had visits there with friends and family... More

We had really good food for dinner at this place, service was great too. There weren't any tables available when we arrived so we decided to have a table outside. There were big blankets to keep warm, but it still got a bit chilly towards the end. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again.

We found this place on Tripadvisor and called ahead to book a table. When we arrived the table was not yet ready but the staff found us a nice table outside and we ordered a drink. The menu is basic Austrian food we had Wiener Schnitzel and the mushrooms with a portion of the fantastic homemade chips (crisps) which were... More

In what was a tough trip to Vienna (nothing to do with this place or the city itself. This was one of the highlights. Old fashioned food, great beers. We're recommended by the place we were staying & what a recommendation! Just go!

We had a very enjoyable meal at this small, local restaurant "off the beaten path" in W. Vienna. We both decided to go with the waitress' recommendations (who was awesome, by the way) and were not disappointed. My wife had roast pork served with a potato dumpling and side salad and I had fried beef and onion patties with mashed... More
