Location and contact

The gastronomic range at ghisallo focuses on the wide choice of Mediterranean cuisine but also offers a delicious selection of traditional Austrian dishes from the traditional Viennese Kitchen. Our menus are put together seasonally. This way we make sure that our ingredients are always fresh and our guests enjoy the best flavours possible. During the day, we invite you to enjoy a cup of coffee at our bar. Based on the famous Italian “Espresso tradition”, we serve you an Espresso for 1 Euro from the Italian cult brand Hausbrandt – a delightful experience you shouldn’t miss! For lunch, we offer a 2-course menu for 8,90 Euro or a 3-course menu for 10,90 Euro. You can put your menu together individually

A small language error resulted in a super soup of the day. Follow by the main and a salad on the side. The bike shop with a twist of food. Brilliant food.

We visited on a very rainy Tuesday evening around 8:30pm and were greeted by a lady (possibly the owner) with a very friendly demeanour. Loved the tortellini with asparagus and cheese and my partner had the pork schnitzel which was also very good! We shared...More

Excellent Italian/Austrian cuisine in a bike shop. Sounds weird I know but it isn’t. When the menu includes Steak Tartare and Veal Rissoles it definitely is something special. Also try the chicken soup and the pork cutlets with polenta

Ghisallo was everything you can ask from a restaurant. Nice (very personal though) atmosphere, really good food and top-of-the-class service. Really liked it.

It was my solo trip to Vienna. I have been there many times, but never try to find some restaurant via tripadvisor. I am happy that I found this cosy, familiar restaurant/bar/bikeshop:)) As I am vegan, a beautiful lady helped me to choose and combine...More

Given the rating I found on tripadvisor we had high hopes. Upon arriving we were quite disappointed, almost did not enter. This was mostly because of the location and the way the restaurant looks. We did go in and had a good meal, but not...More

First I must compliment a very nice services provided by young bilingual weiter and charming owner Livia. The place itself looks from outside alike bikes shop but don’t get discouraged-it has nice and modern, completely cosy restaurant place with nice bar. We tried a lot...More

This former working class district blends hip eateries
and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s
Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and
Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local
icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its
brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby
urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses
several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its
