A small Asian restaurant on the corner or Rudolphplatz. I visited solely because it was a short walk from my hotel. Le Wei serves the best Asian food I have eaten outside of Asia. Once again the only struggle I had as a veggiesaurus, was...deciding what to eat. I decided on a few dishes to share with the rest of the group. Fried vegetables in chickpea batter, vegetable spring rolls, Jasmine rice and tofu with cashew nuts, vegetables and thai basil. They were to join egg fried noodles with vegetables and a chicken, bamboo shoot and mushroom xianling (hot plate). Chinese isn’t the only cuisine on the menu; Indian, thai, Korean and Japanese are also available. Part of the menu is vegan, yes you read that right. I am already planning a return trip to Vienna to visit Le Wei for one of their vegetarian bento boxes. A cheap, hidden gem which is underrated. For me this is one of the best restaurants in Vienna.More

I have been eating chinese food for mid 70’s when canton style chinese restaurants arrive to Scandinavia. We went to Le Wei with family for dinner and got 5 master piece of dinners. Brilliant quality, friendly service and good value for money.

Paul and Angela have been in Vienna for years providing excellent Chinese cuisine and now they have included dim Japanese and Thai dishes. It’s a great place for lunch or dinner with its warm welcome , tasty and satisfying Asian dishes, great service and smiley...owners! I’ve been coming here for years - they have many loyal clients. Try it - you’ll love it.More
