Lovely food (recommend the grilled chicken accompanied by hummus salad and pita) in the amazing ambience of Naschmarkt spoiled by a horribly rude waiter! Such a shame.

Since I am vegetarian I found few options on their menu! Loved the red lentil soup and falafel wrap! They have burger/ sandwich options as well! Happy with my food! Will recommend!

Tewa has a very good selection of vegetarian options. The appetizers are big enough to substitute as the main entree. I recommend the hummus-ful appetizer - it's delicious!

A couple of years ago I had an impromptu lunch at Tewa's other location within Vienna, and found the food to be just "decent." Things haven't changed much. While at Naschmarkt recently, a friend and I dropped in at this location, inspired by the Tagesteller (daily special) of a Falafel Wrap. To begin we ordered Lemonades and Lavender Hugos (Prosecco,... Good spot to pop in for a quick bite early in the evening if you have concert tickets for later. Small but diverse and unique menu. Food and drinks served quickly, and the prices are decent.

We went to Nashmart for a random visit to have a drink or two and ended at this place. It turned out to be a good choice ( for us). We like global music with a welcoming service. But the Tewa veg mix that we ordered topped all of it. Must have, burppp!

We struggled to get a seat with the last of the days sunshine as the place was pretty well full. We only stopped for a few cold ones after a long days sightseeing but could tell that the food from a small menu was being well appreciated. The wait staff and later an Owner were all very friendly & engaging... More

More bar-like than restaurant. Seems to be frequented by a young crowd. Food varied between bland and spicy. Service swift and efficient.

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
