Perfect place, very nice beautifull located in a inside garden. Near the Maria Hilfe. Lot of variations with meat or vegetarian tastefull dishes. Pleasant atmosphere and helpfull staff. Dissapointed that the waiter thought he had to make a strong loud comment that tips are not included, a very silly statement almost resulting in no tip at all or in this... More

Went there with a couple of friends for a Sunday brunch. Buffet was mediocre, no tags or clear descriptions of the different dishes. Definitely not worth the price. The place is understaffed, stressed waiters running around with apparently no time for customers.

This restaurant is near the busy shopping street called Mariahilferstrasse and very close to the quaint theater called the Raimund. It has a really nice outdoor settings and although the menu is not big, it has a good range of options incl. vegetarian. A must is to try the home-made bread. I enjoyed the oliversentree and was impressed with the... More

we sat in the area shown in the profile photo--however we weren't served for half an hour and when we were we were told that we were too late to get the set menu. The main courses arrived at the same time as the starter selection we'd chosen which was unbelievable--and then we were charged for for the starter! The... More

Beautiful garden with great service and various fresh food for everyone's taste. Good choice for vegans too. Waiters speak perfect english so don't worry about that. I recommend reserving a table as it the place is always full.

Nice restaurant. The menu is in German, but our server was kind enough to translate for us. The food is good and priced reasonably.

Let's start with the positive: - fantastic location in a quite garden right next to the shopping street. Very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by flowers - the crepes with nutella, still warm out of the pan, were delicious And that is pretty much it, the rest was extremely disappointing: - food: the brunch food was weird and tasteless to... A very nice little spot! Service was nice, he did his best to translate the menu to English. The food in my opinion was just okay, nothing too exciting. A bit bland. It was given to us almost immediately after we ordered which I wouldn't be in too.

Thank Neil F

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
