Viennas biggest secret

Fabulous ice cream and great value - 3flavours for 2.5 Euros- best ice cream in Europe We have passed this shop at all hours of the day and night and it is always packed with locals - they obviously know what we have just discovered!!!!

Always amazing

Have been going every summer I’ve been in Vienna since 1973 (when I was 7) - my grandma used to sell her marillen to them back then. Still amazing, not changed. Nothing compares. Have been bringing my children here since the early 00s.

Excellent Ice Cream

Excellent ice cream. Friend recommended the place, quick ride from city center with U1. Especially enjoyed the ice Marillenknödel.

Delicious Ice Cream

We visited Tichy every day when we either were getting on the train or at the end of the day headed back to our hotel. It was so delicious. The employees work so fast to get through all the customers. They do a wonderful job...of getting as many scoops of ice cream as you want on your cone. It was one of the favorite parts of our trip to Vienna.More

Nice place

This is a very famous old time ice cream place. I guess the apricot one covered with nuts is the big thing to try. So I did. It was good. But the strawberry was great. A cool place.

Saturday sweet

On a recommendation, we visited this Eis salon on Saturday. The operation consists of two parts more magnificent looking in the ice palace and simpler with a terrace close to metro at Reumannplazt 13 in Vienna. We ordered a classic EIS Marillenknödel and two ice...cream cups. The ice cream did not exceed the average level, cups was nicely arranged, prices friendly but the service was absolutely terrible. I have similarly visited eis salons in Germany in Italy in Austria and also at home. Before visit recommend preparing for unfriendly staff like in the school cafeteria. Great disappointment and absolute difference with the positive experience of Eis salon in Rust.More

Best ice cream you will ever try

No other ice cream will ever come close to this one. Rich flavour, perfectly balanced natural aromas and sweetness. My top 5 picks: 1) Hazelnut (pure perfection) 2) Peanut 3) Yogurt-Raspberry 4) Banana 5) Vanilla Also one should try chocolate and strawberry.

Nice surprise

We went to Tichy by accident after we noticed the amount of people waiting to order: it was amazing their menu and the presentation of the place and staff. The ice cream is definitely one of the best we tried with many combinations and unique...tastes.More

Closed in November, don't care about visitors

Apparently this place is closed during cold season and will be opened again probably in March 2019, and no info on their official website about that. This is absolutely makes no sense to me why you have a website and don't inform your potential clients...about closure. Looks like you don't care people who are coming from very far to try your ice cream and when arrive meet only closed doors and walk away.More
