I have rated Heissernberger before as very good, earlier in 2014. So on my last visit November 201 I returned, also hoping to shop for tea and coffee. Alas. The named exterior still stands, but the store has now vanished and is a handbag shop. Kohlmarkt and seeking coffee? You have 3 options within a few steps. Across the pavement to... More

We came to this cafe to eat some ice cream. Our waiter (middle aged woman) told us that it's prohibited to seat with only ice cream (May be she wanted to reserve table for other tourists, but that time there were no one guest inside and 2 free tables outside) and asked us to leave the cafe. She told it... More

If you are whizzing through Vienna on a tour, chances are you in a crodw all heading into Demels for chocolate, coffee, old world service. D is a great place, but often overcrowded. if you ant a good tea, good service, or to buy tea leaves, coffee beans, try H on the other side of Kholmarkt. It is quiet, restful,... More

This cafe is very central. We found the staff particularly friendly and helpful, and it was a really nice place to sit and have a glass of Prosecco! There was also a big range of coffees and teas and soft drinks - I had a lovely mango and fizzy water.. We were glad we had discovered it.

You get your tea with the tea-timer, coffee is perfect and even the grilled sandwich has the play of tastes! They have several breakfast combos and you can buy their first class tea and coffee on site. A good place to sip an kleine esspresso as well as when you've just bought your Chopard or when you're strolling somewhere, the... More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
