Well it is impresive, it has an exquisite menu, you can have pretty much anything you like. The place is nice either outside or inside. It is worth paying more fore good food.

The restaurant is in a good position, close to the main shopping area, and looks attractive from the outside. The atmosphere inside, however, is rather "cold". There is an extensive menu that caters for most tastes, but our group of three - we each tried something different - agreed that our dishes were overpriced for the quality. We love Italian... More

The restaurant has a great location and you can enjoy your food inside the reastaurant or even outside on the terrace. The food is just delicious and the wines are heavenly. There is something to choose out of for everybody. I strongly recommend Danieli!

I enjoyed a dinner at Danieli in July 16 supported by a wonderful weather. Medium-high pricing. Food Very nice food, well presented. The menu includes some Italian classics with an extra effort to make them more interesting. The wine list is quite wide and includes some niche Italian wines hard to find outside Italy. Ambience I didn't have the chance... More

Danieli has a beautiful patio, lovely menu and good service. The only down side during our visit was a strange surprise from the chef: canned corn as a topping on the Amatriciana pizza. Not listed on be menu, and definitely weird. The waiter's reaction was "every chef has their own recipe", but ..... My husband bravely ate it anyway (... More

I walked past this restaurant and vowed to come back with my husband. We did and we were not disappointed. Charming setting, friendly staff, and excellent Italian food with premium quality ingredients. We ordered salads and wood fired pizzas (highly recommend the Gorgonzola pizza and the hot salami and chilli pizza). The menu is extensive and we are definitely going... More

We visited this restaurant after it was highly recommended and wow it certainly didn't disappoint. The staff were lovely, the food was amazing full of flavour and in all honesty by far the best Italian food I've eaten. We had starters and mains, the portion size of starter was like a main course and when my main came I could... More

This was a dinner with colleagues and friends. Food ordered were some common starters and individual portions of mains. Portions were quite generous. Wine selection was quite average and pricing was a tad high.

I visit the restaurant everytime I'm in Vienna. Unfortunately my experience is deteriorating. The quality of food was better in past, prices are going up. Not the best price to experience ratio these days. Hopefully will get better anytime soon.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
