As a Brazilian living in Eastern Europe, I missed a lot having the traditional "rodizios", with our wonderful barbecue style, but coming to Churrascaria made me feel closer to home. They offer a great salad buffet (no "palmitos", though, I missed them), and another buffet with hot meals (lasagna, rice, "feijoada", "farofa"). At the table, they served some portions of... More

Obviously you cannot expect that you will have the same experience in a "Churrascaria" in Vienna as if you were in Brazil. But it can be a pleasant one. But...that will depend if Nelson is there. Slicing the meet is an art, and you can spoil it badly if you get it wrong. Several cuts are offered but for sure... More

Meat is really good, well cooked. Personnel is gentle and speaks also English. Unfortunately the place is not so big and in some cases a bit noisy. Overall a good place where to taste meat and pass n evening

We've been to brazilian restaurants in portugal, prague and abu dhabi and liked it very much but this one is different.

Living abroad I learned to not to expect the churrascaria as I was used to in Brazil, so after some time I just gave up. In Vienna was no different, someone would have to pay me to go. For several reasons I and my wife decided to try and we're happily surprised. Nelson, the churrasqueiro, knows his stuff and brought... More

We loved this restaurant! The staff were really nice, the food very authentic Brazilian and the meats soooo delicious!! We thought the price charged for the buffet was completely reasonable--cheap even--considering the quality and taste of the food, especially the meats. We loved it!! Do come with an extra empty stomach, however. Pace yourself so you can try as much... More

If you've been to a churrascaria in America you will be disappointed. But if you keep in mind that you're in Austria you'll probably be all right. On the positive side - the price is quite OK, the salad bar has a lot of different choices and the warm sides served were on the whole quite good: fries, fried banana,... More

This place had some of the best meat that I have had in Vienna. We were served a wide variety of beef, (many different cuts), pork ribs, chicken. All of the meat was season and cook to perfection. Their salad and hot sides bar did not disappoint. The salad bar had a nice section of green leafy vegies, tomatoes and... More

If you are a brazilian, you know what i am talking about... a buffet for rice, beans, farofa and salads, waiters serving meat in your plate (it is an uruguayan meat, like in any place in Europe, but its the closest to what we have in Brazil) and appetizers that are served in your table (like fries, fried banana, cheese... Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
