Nice garden and good food. We were there during the Bregenz festival at a very crowded time . Food was very delicious typical austrian cuisine , wine ok , prices very reasonable.

Stopped here whilst on a 2 week tour of Europe and can honestly say it was the only place that made me feel uncomfortable. The food was actually quite nice but found the waiter (Walter) incredibly rude and unhelpful. The other waiting staff were fine.

I enjoyed my time in the Goldener Hirschen, attended by a Sevillian bartender (a surprise) and having a traditional soup with meat, typicall of the area. I would repeat.

We tried this restaurant on a recommendation from our hotel and were certainly not disappointed !! The place itself looks extremely olde wordle with a typical Austrian rustic charm and was full of Austrians - which is always a good sign. After dining there a couple of nights realised that you really do need to book a table - so... More

Very friendly staff. The food is soild, typical Austrian. Price is alright. Don't expect something extra ordinary.

Very good service - perfect Schnitzel and Kässpätzle - a must for hungry tourists in Bregenz. Special lunch-menues for a very good price! Be sure to make a reservation before your visit

We stopped by for dinner on our way to Arlberg. We like trying new places in new cities and we always use TripAdvisor. We first drove to hotel Germania at the top of the list, but it was closed. So we decided to try this place - number three on the list. If a place like this qualifies for a... More

Tipical local Austrain restaurant but taste if much belo avarage. Srvice was ok, athomsfere also but not food. Shnitzel we order was too tick and bread was sticked to meat. Cooked beef would be ok if thet cook more juicy part of beef

An old "Gasthof" like they are custom to the area. Great food and very fast and friendly service. It is recommended to reserve, because it is always crowded (because the food is fantastic).
