Thsi restaurant is really close to old town and a bit cheaper than the restaurant from the city center. The food is very good, the plating looks really nice, the music is perfect and the waiters are super friendly and polite. We trully recommend this place and we will for sure come back to eat here.

We came by for lunch during winter so the tables were not set up outside. The bottom of the restaurant is a bar and the restaurant is at the top of the stairs. We managed to get a booth that fit 5 + a toddler round the back of the restaurant. It was quite busy but the waitress was very helpful and friendly. They had a fairly large selection on their menu and there were descriptions in English. We ordered a few things to share and gave us side plates. The spaetzle here was the best I had. Creamy, cheesy and delicious. The other items were also really good, particularly the Tiroler grostl, a beef and potato hash.
This place has really good food and service. The prices also were quite good, most items under 20 Euros. Definitely a nice place to try and it wasn't as busy as the other restaurants closer to the Old Town square.

Excellent service and kindness, great food. We eat trout, dampling, chicken salad, tomoto soup, tyrolan soup, mixed grill. We have found all excellent. The typical waizen beer is great as well.

What a hidden gem! The food is amazing equally matched with atmosphere and staff. Rutti was fabulous and explained everything to us. We had the gröstel and the ribs. Both delicious that we came back a second night on our 4 night stay in Innsbruck. Portions are large and so you won't leave feeling still hungry. Thank you so much for a great night!

Used this restaurant twice in a week. Both times had the Kaspressknödelsuppe as a starter. Not bad. Ordered Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad on the first visit. The schnitzel was golden brown on both sides and the potato salad had a nice texture. But still, to be honest, both were a little bland. The second time tried the mixed salad and ribs. The ribs were surprisingly good. Hence, four stars on average. The restaurant is in a very nice location.

Oh what a delightful meal we had her on our first night in Innsbruck. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky enough to get a table on a busy Monday night. Our welcome & service from the gentleman working on his own was absolutely superb. So Efficient & friendly.
We enjoyed the tomato soup, Wiener schnitzel, cordon blue & an apple strudel. Every bite was very tasty. Would recommend this place when visiting. Including 2 x 250ml carafes of wine it cost just over €60! What a bargain.
Loved the mini carafes with an ice pocket.

We stopped in for lunch whilst exploring the city. Nice setting with a traditional feel to it. Service was friendly and food quick. Food itself was nice but I felt my beef was a little overdone for my liking. Overall though a nice experience

This place was ver busy when we arrived for dinner. Menu had plenty of options and some nice specials also. The ribs were tender and yum and the salmon also excellent. Very good sized portions. Our waiter was ver helpful and we appreciated his english rather than us mangling german to get our meal. Only down side is smoking at tables is allowed in Austria when eating outside.

After reading the reviews we decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. Sat on the patio which had beautiful flowers. Waiter was awesome and spoke English which helped us out for sure. Had 2 beers each. The Marzen beer was great. I ordered the Cordon Bleu and parsley potatoes and hubby had the pork schnitzel and fries. Both were delish! Fries were very good. He even said better than the most recent McDonald’s fries we had. Would go again. Prices were reasonable.

We had such a great lunch here our day visiting/driving through Innsbruck. It's off the beaten path a bit but still so close to the city center. We came in January so it was warm, quiet, and the food/drinks were so good. Would recommend to anyone looking for a local place to eat in Innsbruck

We came here for dinner without reservation. Was rather worried as it was a Saturday and we didn't know if this place will be full or not. It was busy but we managed to get a table. It seem like a small place inside but if I'm not mistaken there's another dinning area up stairs and they have a terrasse outdoors. A very nice area for summer time I should think.
Service staff was very attentive and kind. We ordered their speciality dishes; Trioler Grosti, spare ribs, cordon bleu and Weiner schnitzel with a side of cabbage, a mix salad and garlic bread. The dishes was well presented and tastes wonderful! They also serve local craft beer, which I think is wonderful discovery for me. All in all a great dinning experience.

We were looking for a traditional place that still had a good menu that offered something for everyone, Fischerhausl was it!
This seemingly tucked away restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area and an intimate space inside. We didn't have reservations, but the staff found a table for us. Our server was friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed our meals, drinks, and dessert.
I would recommend Fischerhausl to anyone looking fora good dinner in Innsbruck.

Staid here on my own for diner (fish). Although i was alone I enjoyed the two hours i was kept here. Due to the busy hours it took quite some time before I was served. Nevertheless I enjoyed my time here. There were quite some people waiting to be seated. Also the fish was not as good as you might expect, considering the name of the place...

We came here with a group of nine and I had made a few small changes to the reservation. Everything was fine, though and my changes did not present any problems. In fact, they were most helpful.
The venue turned out to be wonderful, full of ambience, charm and history. The table setting was A1 and the services we received was also A1. Enough time to relax and check over the menu before we ordered. Drinks came quickly and then the food arrived, exactly as we ordered. It was, without exception, delicious and there was plenty of it. A few of us had desserts, all of which were top notch. Time for the bill (check...for our American friends!) and the surprise was even better.
This is a really lovely restaurant, good food, excellent service and superb value. I highly recommend Stefan and his team and look forward to returning, someday soon I hope. Thanks guys!

Traditional Austrian restaurant, just outside the heart of the city center. Indoor and outdoor seating possible, 5 minutes from the golden roof. Superb staff, relatively small menu with mostly Austrian dishes, both the spare ribs and the cordon bleu were really nice. Apfelstrudel as a dessert very tasty too. Nothing spectacular, but definitely worthwhile checking out.
