The atmosphere is very traditional and makes you feel very welcome! The service is extremely fast and great for big groups! The beer is absolutely delicious and the food is even better, my personal favorite is käsespätzle!

Passing across Innsbruck on our way from Germany to Italy & back, we stopped for lunch there. Nice authentic and hearty Austrian food. I recommend the Veal Wiener Schnitzel, their Wurst, and steak. Food is served at a lightning speed, which is perfect when you're on the go. Only negative is the bad ventilation especially that the bar area is... More

We always eat here when in Innsbruck. The food is excellent, typical local cuisine. Staff are friendly although very busy. The old building and decorations make this a very interesting place. Prices are good

We were told here it's the traditional Wienerschnitzel and we should eat it here and we did. Food was delicious & the beers as well. The restaurant was hard to perceive, many small rooms and first we had to look for the waiter to help us and lead us to table. We didn't like that you can smoke inside, it... More

First, it was difficult to find the door to get inside but we finally managed. We loved the decor as it had high ceiling and some historical elements. We were very lucky to get a table as the restaurant was packed with people (probably there ould be more but they couldn't find the door). The food was delicious but we... More

We've eaten here quite a number of time on various trips. There is a good selection of food. This is the German equivalent of US franchising, this is an Augustiner, just like all the other Augstiner's I've been to in Munich, Regensburg, Nurnburg etc. All very good. The only problem I have with the Stiftskeller is the smell of smoke... More

We had Pork Schnitzel and drinks at a very reasonable price in the heart of Innsbruck. All staff spoke English. Would eat here again

Nice traditional restaurant which serves local food. Beer is good. It can be quite busy but it's worth the wait for the table. Tried the goulash soup and my partner had beef goulash with dumplings, both were excellent and service is great
