I've eaten there twice and I must say the first was definitely better than the second. The place is beautiful and has a lovely traditional atmosphere. The lovely decor and feel certainly distracts you from some of the other things that are so great the first time you go. I found the staff overly eager to hurry you along and... More

Wandered around several smoke filled rooms looking for a table. No one seemed to want to help, so I finally stopped someone to ask if a table was available. He basically blew me off, so we left. Can't rate the food but would never give my business to a place that has so little regards for it's customers.

We got into Innsbruck and walked old town a bit and ran into this restaurant at the end of an alleyway. I ordered the Wiener schnitzel and my hubby ordered the hunters style game ragout. Both were very healthy portions and very good. The Wiener Schnitzel came with either boiled potatoes or pommes frittes. For dessert u had to try... More

The must visit restaurant in Innsbruck! It is very traditional one! I would recommend to take a look in every single room of the restaurant, all together they are around 10 rooms, each of them is a very different from the other one, so you can see that this restaurant has traditions! Meal is very good and it is not... More

Had dinner with my friends on Friday after our visitation to the various tourist sights. We decided to all try the Wiener Schnitzel in Veal.. It was nice and tender but it was the cranberry sauce that stole the show. I only realised much later that I should have bought the jam / sauce after trying some other too sweet... More

Much better places to eat. If you don't mind a dining experience like Wagamama like a school refectory then you won't be disappointed. The food was bland and pretty sparse. Not much imagination to it, like a dried out schintzel dumped on a plate with 2 boiled potatos and a pot of cranberry jam. Very disappointed in this place given... More

The food was good. I had a nice dunkel beer. The apple strudel was good too. The food was served very fast today.

We wanted a biergarten experience, and this was nearby where we were staying. Food was fantastic - schnitzel, sausage, braised pork - and order the house pretzel - it's a long pretzel stick. Served warm and fresh - the best! Beer and house wine were both fabulous. We sat in the bar area - too much smoke everywhere else. Service... More
