30 of us piled in for a great dinner. Good service and great local food, beer and wine. One of the best places we ate at in the old town

Great place to eat in Innsbruck. Good and typical food and beer. Quite cheap given Innsbruck's prices. We went for a late lunch and had a great experience!

This is a traditional Tyrol restaurant. Very quick service (not more than 5 min), good beer and wine, and special cooked schnitzel. Reasonable prices ( 15€/person). It is located in the old town of Innsbruck. It is important that local people prefer this restaurant! The only negative point is that potatoes are the same as a fast food precooked. They... More

We ate in the non smoking dining room. It was very busy when we arrived but we were seated quickly. we had tried to book a table but had been told it was not possible other than when they had just opened and we wanted to eat late, they were right to say "just turn up and we will seat... More

I tried to book a table for a group of 9 people for 2pm. Even though the website states that they are serving food all day, we were told in a very unfriendly way that this was only possible if we would come at noon. No explanation or apology was given.

This place is crowded and there's a good reason for that. They serve local food, have reasonable prices and the best beer you can have in town.

We stopped at the stiftkeller to rest and have a beer after a walk in town. The atmosphere is great, beer Augustiner really good and typical tyrolean meals (knodels, gulaschsuppe, pretzel) coming in big portion and with very good quality. The place is wide and has several floors, also available smokers areas. Stop here if you wish to feel the... More

Walking by at lunch time, the restaurant was very crowded. We came back for supper, and could get a table without waiting. The food was good, but nothing special. This has a typical brew house menu.

If you've been to any brew house in Austria or Germany, you know what you're getting with Stiftskeller. This outpost serves Augustinier, a lager from Munich, which is delicious especially when quaffed out of a stein. Food is tasty yet nothing special. I had the Bayern mix of potatoes, meat and a fried egg. I demolished it but it did... More
