I have visited this restaurant more than once on my trips to Salzburg and thoroughly enjoy it every time! The service is great, always efficient and friendly. The atmosphere inside is comfortable, welcoming and truely Austrian! If you're going in summer the beer garden is so atmospheric and relaxing after a long day seeing the sights! The food comes quick... More

The beer was excelente and the traditional dishes superb. The soup was the best one that I've had in my 10 days at Salzburg. The homemade apple pie simply delicious.

Recommended by a friend who had been here. Super glad we went ahead with the recommendation. One key thing about this place? You better make a reservation. We see so many people who got turned away as they did not have any reservations. We were lucky to get seats (without reservation) just when the restaurant is open for service at... More

We stumbled upon this lovely little bar by accident after a night in the old town. We did not know what to expect when we went up the stairs, however it tuirned out to be a really friendly local bar with some great beers on draft. The staff made us very welcome and I would definitely reccommend it for anyone... More

As my title reads, Greeting from the Pauli Stubm. We were in Europe for 3 weeks and I can say Pauli Stubm was a top 3 food/drink place we visited in 6 countries. Food was great, The Weiner Schnitzel was plenty and tasty. Tap beer was very good too. Staff that night were 2 hosts and they were busy, but... More

After leaving the Fort in the late afternoon we decided to look for somewhere to eat close by. We walked to this place (contrary to some of bad reviews). We did not have reservations but living in Europe you know that if you show up right when the place opens you can usually have a table for an hour or... More

It was out last night in Salzburg and hinted till we found this place dashed on Rick Steves' recommendation. The place was packed but the Bier Garten was empty. It was mild enough and they had a few heaters. The food and drink was hearty and food. The staff spoke good English and were fun. So glad we took the... More

The garden on the first flow is a legend just below the castle Hohensalzburg. And the Wiener schnitzel is probably the best in town.

A hidden gem in Salzburg, well worth a visit. Really lovely outside seating area, great atmosphere. A lot of the customers were locals which we always think is a good sign Went there to sample local food and we weren't disappointed! Very tasty and staff were very friendly and attentive. Coped very well with our lack of German!!!! Would definitely... More

The reviews that warn about rude waitstaff are right on the money! My sister and I went for dinner there based on good reviews. The outside garden is charming and a nice place to be in the summer. The food was pretty average but not bad. However, our waiter was incredibly rude to us, I never felt to insulted at... More
