the food sucked, very bad taste, service wasnt good either. Owner was more interested in denying for dishes than taking orders and serving them. I wont recommend any one to try Indian Cuisine in this restaurant. it seemed to me a Pakistani restaurant not an authentic Indian restaurant. and it is way too expensive for a poor taste of food.

This is the worst food one can have. Pathetic food, our dal was rotten and smelled foul. It looked like an old forgotten Resturant that probably used to be good. Please avoid in all the cases.

Maharaja is the only place where I had food at Salzburg. I had Dal, Chicken Curry, Indian bread (roti) and Rice. They tasted all well cooked and homely and particularly so there is nothing much that needs to be said about the food except for the fact that its authentic Indian Taste. Maharaja has the mascot of AIR INDIA just... More

We visited this restaurant on Sunday night when it was very quiet. The service was fine. Not slow but not so quick that we felt rushed. We ordered vegetable pakora which were freshly cooked and came with delicious chutneys. Our main meal was butter chicken with rice, naan and raita. The naan was fresh and light, not too much butter/ghee... More

Great experience stayed in salzburg for 3 days and preferred having food from Maharaja. Since, we were late on the first day as the restraunt was closed stil the couple owning the restro were courteous to entertain us. Food is reasonable and worth having very delicious. Maharaja Restraunt keep it up.

We were very tired on our first night in Salzburg and just wanted somewhere to enjoy a quick dinner before bed. We were blown away by how good the food at Maharaja was. I had the Butter Chicken which was creamy and the perfect amount of spicy. My mother had the Chicken Korma which was very smooth and not at... More

Not sure how salzburg government is still allowing this restaurant to run. Food is pathetic and rotten. Taste is horrible with no salt. Biriyani looks like curry rice and rice was not cooked properly. you need to search for vegetables in vegetable soup. Indians please avoid this restaurant. THIS IS ONE OF THE HORRIBLE RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER VISITED IN... More
