This was our best meal in Salzburg. The food was fresh and creative. The house wine was great, and the staff were warm and congenial. A definite must for any looking for a great Italian meal.

Make your reservation ahead of time because I wish we could have gone here every night. I am not used to set menu but this was outstanding. Amazing FRESH antipasta starter and incredible homemade pastas for the main meal. Great value! One of the best meals we have ever had in our years of travels-best meal by far in Salzburg.

It is possible to get real genuine Italian food outside of Italy! Pasta e vino is a real Italian restaurant. They have no menu, simply offer antipasti and a choice of 3 mains (i.e. home made past) (meat, fish or vegetarian). Good food in a nice friendly atmosphere, what else would you want? I was very happy!

The food here is simple and great, but eating inside is worth a plenary indulgence as the place is horrendously noisy and even in cool weather unbearably hot.

We found this by accident. Were unsure when there was no menu told of 3 pasta dishes then told there was a white wine. After 21/2 weeks travelling this was the best meal/wine/night that we had had😊😊 We asked for cheese after our meal and the most amazing selections of cheeses came out👍 Thoroughly recommend a visit

Visited this restaurant for dinner. And as others have explained the menu is very limited. Antipasti to start and a choice of 3 pastas. For wine - there is a choice of one white and one red. This does not bother me at all as I am not fussy and I like the idea of having a limited menu so... More

This is one of the best, if not, the best restaurant we visited in Salzburg. It's located near the Mirabellplatz in a non-descript street. The freshly made pasta is served by friendly and warm Italian staff. No menus here and they serve what's fresh and made each day. We had spaghetti with cherry tomatoes, ravioli and salad of sundried tomatoes,... More

This place is really a deli with tables, but none the worse for that. In the evening, it's a simple concept: there is only one starter on offer: a plate of antipasti which is prepared in front of your eyes by the waiter selecting from about 10 different dishes in the deli cold cabinet, so you get a pretty full...
