We love the German food we e been having but this was a great change. It was late when we arrived. There is no menu. Three homemade pasta dishes and antipasto. We had the tuna pasta and ham and pumpkin pasta. Both were excellent. Reasonable prices. You should go!!!

Simple choice of three pastas but cooked to perfection. Wonderful tiramisu and great service. The sort of place you want to keep to yourself...

My wife and I ate at Pasta e Vino early one evening in September 2016. This restaurant was recommended to us by our friends at Hotel Mozart. It was a fine recommendation. We had an outdoor table on the sidewalk and the service was lovely and friendly. This is a good place to go when you need a break from... More

We needed a break from the typical food of the region and what a delight this place was. There were only three choices on the menu, but wow, were they great. The wine was good as well.

We were running late and needed a stylish lunch to celebrate arrival in Salzburg . The format is pretty clear. The antipasti seem fresh and well considered. The drinks are affordable and no menu to see as the charming waiter described 3 exquisite pasta dishes and we had the range between us. All swiftly served with a smile... And fluent... More

We ended up at the restaurant via the cab driver who knew it was the best. Came for lunch and even though it was busy. found a seat close to the deli. It was one of the best Italian restaurants I had ever been at, even in Italy. I had one of the alfredo specials (no menu, just daily specials)... More

Recommended by an austrian man we met on train. We went knowing there is antipasto plate and three types of pasta. I Had a Bolognese and my friend a prawn in garlic olive oil. Both were absolutely delicious. And very good bargain. 1/2 liter of wine and two very large portions of excellent al dente pasta for 25e. We will... More

As others have mentioned, there is no menu -- just an antipasti plate and 3 kinds of sauce for linguine. The antipasti plate was huge and we thought we had overordered. Somehow, we managed to finish about 80% of the antipasti and 90% of the pasta. (We both ordered bolognese sauce.) There was also a delicious-looking tiramisu but we were... More

We needed a break from heavy Austrian food and Pasta e Vino was just the ticket. All locals (our preference) and the waitstaff spoke enough English to get buy but didn't cater to Americans. Again, our preference. As stated by others, there is no menu. One fresh pasta a day with your choice of meat, veggie or fish sauce. I... More
