This place in Salzburg, Austria, the birthplace of Mozart, opened in 1997, is the perfect place when you want to eat something simple and fast. The service is excellent, as well as their dishes, specially the Durum Kebap, my favorite.
This halal restaurant is on the Linzergasse on the edge of the old city. Salzburg is expensive but Ossi is not - while providing good quality food - not just Turkish but pizzas too. The restaurant is particular about using only the best quality meat,...The friendly owner/manager is everywhere at the same time to make sure his clients are happy. Though halal beer is available too.More
Best Döner in town. PERIOD! The owners are super friendly and love to have groups of foreigners checking it out. If your kind and polite, you can request the back room for a large group. They are very accommodating and wonderful hosts. I have been...eating here since 2006 and go back every single time.More
By the time I arrived in Salzburg after travelling for 24 hours, I was famished. Walking around Mirabellplatz and finally coming across a kebab place that suited my palate. Good food and customer service. Thank you for the pleasant experience.
My friend & I were tired & very hungry. We were so glad we found this place. The Durum was so tasty & packed with meat. We felt like it was a good value. The server spoke English & he was very nice.
We were...going to take it & eat it in our room But it was lovely outside. We decided to eat out in the festive atmosphere.
When we went over to London, we were disappointed in what “Durum” meant. (Skimpy meat) We were spoiled by our grand Durum at this place.
Highly recommend this place!More
This was the first place we stopped at when we arrived in Salzburg. We only had a coffee latte which turned out to be the best place to get coffee of the trip, so stopped there every day. On our last day we had lunch...and had the flat bread chicken kebap which was generously filled and very tasty and only €5. and finished off with a great coffee latte, a great place to sit and watch the world go by.More
Being fair, this restaurant offers friendly service, reasonable food, but is slightly expensive for what is on offer.
Our main gripe is that most of the tables accommodate smokers, and the non smoking area has a large open window that connects to the smoking area,...so is effectively also a smoking area.
As non smokers, this isn't for us, and we won't be going back.More
