Fantastically cool and stylish venue. Good food and coffee to die for. Good vegetarian selection. Very well designed venue, and though very busy and popular waiting staff were friendly and attentive.

Nice place, it was a bit crowded on Sunday until about noon, we liked the food, and we visited it twice. Indeed a place to visit.

Cool ambience and good food. We only stopped for a coffee and cake but was so impressed with everything about this place. Shame we only had 30 mins and were unable to hang around longer.

Took a day trip to the beautiful Salzburg and searched for a good coffee spot to start the day. 220 GRAD came up on Tripadvisor as #1 for Coffee in Salzburg! Perfect right? Not so much, sadly… We took a seat very close to the...bar and had water glasses put on the table immediately (great), but then weren‘t seen to for about 15 minutes…? Strange. Coffee‘s arrived and tasted pretty good, but on average were between 4-6 Euros each - for coffee we all thought this was extortionate! Also, one of us ordered an Einspänner, but what arrived was a teeny tiny espresso with whipped cream. We did order food… wouldn‘t again. Same reason being the prices. Slices of cakes were nicely decorated and tasted nice, but couldn‘t justify the price tag. The real crime was the Avocado on toast though… costing a hefty €12. Plus, my Dad was asked if he‘d like a poached egg on top, he said sure… this came with a €2.50 surcharge. Wow! This really felt like style over substance. If you‘re hungry in Salzburg and looking for something authentic (because let‘s face it, the typical food is always best), then I‘d recommend looking elsewhere for now.More

Love this place! Tried two of the locations during my short visit to Salzburg and they both had a cosy ambience - the type where you can just relax, have a read and enjoy your meal. The coffee was probably the best in town and...they’ve got some great breakfast choices. And to top it all, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.More

This was just a superb breakfast. We ordered avocado on toast and a breakfast special - bacon, egg and avocado sandwich, served with strawberry and rhubarb and a smoothie. The food was exceptional, as were the coffees. The indoor area was nice and there was...also a nice outdoor area. The staff were lovely and friendly.More

This restaurant was close to our AirBNB and we felt so lucky! The coffee was excellent, the staff was super friendly/helpful,and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the "Maxi for 2" meal. It included so many excellent breads, spreads, fruit, cheese and meat! We...got an additional French Press at the end of our meal. It was delicious and the server was really knowledgeable about the coffee. Get there early or makea reservation! It fills up fast!More

This is by far the best and most original breakfast place in the city. Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I had the breakfast of the month which was excellent paired with one of their fantastic coffees.

We visited this lovely cafe shortly before the lockdown in Salzburg. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere - we felt very welcome. The coffee is great and the food is freshly prepared and delicious. The staff were helpful and made sure we understood what was...happening with the lockdown. I hope the lockdown ends soon and it is back in business. Well worth a visit for coffee , breakfast or lunch.More

What a perfect find for our last day in Salzburg! It was another cold and rainy day when we set out in search of a hearty breakfast to see us through the day. After a short walk to 220grad, we stepped in to a cafe...bustling with people and conversation. We were greeted at the door by a kind gentleman, who asked us to wait a bit for a table to free up. He then offered us a couple glasses of water, and a short while later, led us to a tiny pre-seating area, where we could rest and review the menu while waiting to be seated. The table we were shown to a short while later was by the door, but it was still very comfortable. We'd had a chance to review the menu while hanging out at the pre-seating area (a place where they took several couples while we were dining), so we knew what we wanted to order. We both went with the "Breakfast in December", a plate with eggs, bread, ham, figs and a cream cake in a glass jar. That is, of course, a terrible way of describing what we actually got. Okay - let me give the description they had on their menu. "Herbal scrambled eggs with homemade onion-bacon-bread, wild boar loin ham from the region of Waldviertel, butter, served with a festive slice of cream cake in a glass, with chestnuts and sour cherries." Much nicer when they say it, no? The meal also came with a choice of hot beverage - I got a latte, and my husband got a drip coffee. I absolutely loved the feel of this restaurant - it was cozy and vibrant, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The gentleman that originally greeted us made it a point to visit every party while also manning the front door and the cafe's to-go coffee business. The wait staff were attentive and patient, and super efficient at what they were doing. The food, when it was set before us, made us both afraid we'd walk out still hungry. We couldn't have been more wrong! Though it looked like a light meal, it was exactly the hearty breakfast we had sought. The eggs were perfectly fluffy and flavored with fresh herbs. The bread was soft and chewy, and the whipped butter melted perfectly into the crevices of the loaf. The ham had a nice bite to it - shaved thin, it reminded me of prosciutto, but with a much milder flavor. We were served a roasted tomato, which went perfectly with the eggs, and a fig slice, which I surprisingly enjoyed. I initially thought the cake in the glass was a gimmick, but it turned out to be my favorite thing. I wanted to lick the jar! It was cream and crumbled flaky pastry served with fresh whipped cream and a couple more pieces of less-flaky pastry and the sour cherries. It was heaven in a jar. I really wish we had found this place earlier in our trip, because knowing us, we would have made it a "regular stop". Unfortunately, it was our last day in the city, so we were only able to experience the wonderful food and incredible staff once. We would absolutely go back the next time we visit the city, though!More

Best coffee by far since arriving in Austria, closest I have found to coffee served in Australia. Also had the porridge which was delicious! Great service!
