If you have a special event to celebrate or just want excellent quality also with the selections of wine with no view on the price you are right in here. The service is very good and friendly. During summertime you have to make a reservation for dinner, as it is normally fully booked at this time of the year.

We have enjoyed a breakfast with a lot of different dishes, but much more with high quality stuff, even we are locals, we found some well known marmelades and pastries just delicious.

Excellent quality of food and drinks with very good service. Full of stylish people, modern design, a pleasant place. A great place to taste some quality finger food with a glass of fine wine.

This place in the very heart of old town is very conveniently located for Salzburg visitors. We had luhch there several times when coming for the music festival. Being awarded the Michelin star they strive to maintain the status, so you will find there all expected finesses such as chef compliments and exquisite cuisine. However, after visiting many other Michelin... More

We loved this restaurant. We ate upstairs in the fine dining restaurant. The menu was inventive and the food fresh and creatively prepared. My wife had goose foie gras pan fried and as a pate de foie followed by a fish dish and I had some of cones (try them - it's what they serve in the bar downstairs) as... More

We visited Carpe Diem twice during our recent visit to Salzburg and enjoyed a drink and a snack. The snacks, "finger food" as they describe them, were excellent and slightly original versions of commonly available dishes. Overall the standard was high and the ambience relaxed. On both occasions we sat on a "covered terrace" where the seats (sofas) were very... More

We had lunch twice at Carpe Diem. At the first visit it was a week day and we opted for the menu. The schnitzel was very good, we had nothing like the apricot desert before. The service was also highy efficient. At the second visit on Saturday I had langoustine and veal, bpth were delicious. The white and erd wines... More

Every food I tasted (4-course and 8-course) was a work of art, gastronomically and visually. I savoured everything offered. The price (not cheap) is well justified. The quality of the ingredients, cooking and presentation is impeccable. The service was cordial, timely, helpful--perfect! The restroom was so clean--a cloth provided instead of paper towels.

This cool modern bistro and restaurant at the end of Getreidegasse, the main shopping street in Salzburg old town was a surprisingly good option. We did not have a great deal of expectation for finger food but this went beyond mere cocktail hor d'oeuvres. Served in cones were some of the most inventive pairings of the likes you might find...
