My boyfriend and I went to Carpe Diem not once or twice but three times in our three days in Salzburg. We couldn't get enough of the place! The food tastes divine and is uniquely presented. There is something for every taste. Do it "tapas" style with a 7 or 4 course arrangement or "a la carte" where you can... More

We stopped here for coffee mid-morning whilst on holiday in Salzburg. The location is great, you can sit outside or inside; its a very smart and elegant restaurant and the choice of cakes was superb. There were people finishing breakfast which consisted of a 3 tiered selection of breads and pastries, looked lovely!

We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 9am without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us with their last available table, as all other tables were reserved. Probably a good idea to make a reservation if you want to go a bit later. The breakfast was wonderful; everything they served was premium quality, from the fruit... More

This place offers an amazing breakfast, You can go with a set menu which costs about 29 Euro or you can go a la carte and choose your courses and it comes out much less. The food here is great and so are the coffee and tee. Great place for a Sunday brunch.

We came here for a couple of cocktails before dinner elsewehere, the atmosphere was buzzing, live music was on and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We sat at the bar enjoyed the music, the drinks and soaked in the atmosphere. A large amount of people here seemed local which is always a good sign. Good prices not cheap... More

At first when I got to Carpe Diem was not sure where to sit and what to order. Very nice waiter warned me that portions are small - and though they are not big, they are certainly not tiny. I decided to select a la carte and it was a series of culinary delighs: Combination of two chars (pan-fried and... More

We went for afternoon coffee and cake. It was a great choice. The cakes were very good, we had the Sacher (modern and better spin on the original) and a lemon meringue pie. The lattes were huge and well prepared. The atmosphere was great and relaxing, a true oasis.

Had a drink or 2 in this place on Sunday night in Salzburg. Great selection of wines and cocktails and great finger foods. Unfortunately this is one of those Austrian bars where everyone smokes /cough /cough - dry cleaning needed :(

We dropped in and were offered a table with a view of the medieval church across the street. Service was great, very friendly, just a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely return.
