While the sandwiches were pretty good and not too expensive each (although they are small, so the cost adds up), I think we enjoyed eating here more for the experience and the atmosphere. Most of the staff did come across as pretty impatient with us, probably because they are very busy and don't speak English very well. However, there was... More

Keep an eye out for cheaper options on the sandwich menu than the champers on the drink menu if fizz is your thing

The delicatessen part of the restaurant is decent but the staff and service are poor. The waitress was impatient to the point of rudeness and told us she wouldn't take orders outside as it was too cold. It was around 17 degrees in September but this is Austria after all. Would not return or recommend.

This place is something else. Nothing like this in Graz. The ambient and atmosphere is very special and attracts people of all ages and types. A lot of variation in the menu, coffee, tee, wine, ... and the food menu offers several French specialities. This place is full outside in nice weather, and even inside it may be difficult to... Set just off the main square in the old part of Graz, serving authentic Austrian food. Food was good but based on the reviews I was expecting exceptional.

This delicatessen is a real jewel of Graz. Established in 1932 this deli is not only one of the main meeting point of the locals but it is an institution. Here at The Frankowitsch, located right in the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town city center of Graz, the Grazer meet up for seeing friends, reading the papers, having an extended... More

You chose your sandwiches at the bar and trink a glass of beer or Prosecco with it. The sandwiches are like pinxos in Barcelone, many different kinds, with ham or fish or cheese or lobster.

It is always a pleasure to come in for an hour and relax by good wine, prosecco and little sandwiches! We know the place since 20 years and can warmly recommend it to everyone, who cares about good taste and traditions!

I was there after all reviews....I just wanted to try it. I did make a reservation, which was diffucult. Next day I was one time, and I did wait for 30 minutes . Service was very bad. Yes open sandwiches are fresh and tasty. The way they did service is not ok. It is in the center of old city,... More
