This restaurant is different. Dont be surprised if you have to cue or even sit outside. Your first Impression might be why do people cue for a snack? Try it, and you know why. Either you have some of these amazing sandwiches or sweets you will go and have some more. Everything is homemade and fresh, and very delicious!

This place is perfect for brunch. They have a lot of choices. There are too many bruschettas with mayonaise :/ But their sweets are perfect!

Frankowitsch offers a lot of sandwiches and cakes and has interesting old fashioned interior decoration. Terrace is very nice on the warm day and inside of the place is kind of dark. Sandwiches are really tasty and somewhat overpriced for their size, but I would say it's worth a visit if you're mildly hungry. You can order gluten free sandwich... More

This place should not be TA #1. It might be an institution, but the food is not special at all and prices are high (a so-called large fresh orange juice at 4€ would be small in most places, and taste fresher as well). The tiny sandwiches are not bad (tried 6 different ones) but not outstanding by any means. As... More

While the sandwiches were pretty good and not too expensive each (although they are small, so the cost adds up), I think we enjoyed eating here more for the experience and the atmosphere. Most of the staff did come across as pretty impatient with us, probably because they are very busy and don't speak English very well. However, there was... More

Keep an eye out for cheaper options on the sandwich menu than the champers on the drink menu if fizz is your thing

The delicatessen part of the restaurant is decent but the staff and service are poor. The waitress was impatient to the point of rudeness and told us she wouldn't take orders outside as it was too cold. It was around 17 degrees in September but this is Austria after all. Would not return or recommend.

This place is something else. Nothing like this in Graz. The ambient and atmosphere is very special and attracts people of all ages and types. A lot of variation in the menu, coffee, tee, wine, ... and the food menu offers several French specialities. This place is full outside in nice weather, and even inside it may be difficult to... Set just off the main square in the old part of Graz, serving authentic Austrian food. Food was good but based on the reviews I was expecting exceptional.

This delicatessen is a real jewel of Graz. Established in 1932 this deli is not only one of the main meeting point of the locals but it is an institution. Here at The Frankowitsch, located right in the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town city center of Graz, the Grazer meet up for seeing friends, reading the papers, having an extended... More
