We have visited this restaurant twice over a three week period, the food service and ambience of the place is wonderful. The owners are very friendly people and have good command of English for those that struggle with French as I do. We would highly...recommend you visit for lunch or evening meal if passing through, their three course lunch menu with a selection of dishes including wine at 13 Euros is unbelievable value for money.More

9 of us went for lunch. The €13 menu has 3 choices for starter and main and 4 for desert. Everything excellent but the ham hock was superb; fell of the bone and very tasty. Service was very friendly with excellent English. Ambiance was lovely...and the place was wheelchair accessible. Will definitely return.More

We had purposefully sought somewhere to eat within this area as we were travelling through. Trip advisor suggested Auberge de Guerledan and it appealed because there wasn't too many options within this region. And what a blessed discovery it was! Upon arriving although packed we...were immediately made to feel at home by the charming owner, shown to our table in a restaurant full of locals. The set lunch menu with selected choices was perfect and we ordered with ease. The service was prompt whistle allowing an unhurried couple of hours to pass. The quality of the food and drinks offered was a pleasant surprise and we can definitely see why it's so popular with the locals for the value that it offers. Two set 3 courses and drinks for less than €20. Waou!More

We ate here one Friday lunchtime, we had reserved a table as we’d heard that it could be very busy - and it was, with just one table available at 12:30. Lunch is typical of a good restaurant in rural France, used daily by locals,...beautifully cooked delicious home cooking. The set menu at 13€ included a choice of three starters, three mains and four desserts plus a bottle of water and either wine, cider or beer. Portion sizes are generous, the salad starter would have been a light lunch for me, and I couldn’t manage dessert. The owner speaks very good English and our waitress was English, so no language barriers. The total bill including 2 coffees was 28,80€, brilliant value for money. We would definitely recommend a visit and we will return.More

Had casual evening meal here with live band playing. Great atmosphere, mostly local people in. The pizzas are good, but simple. Good price for a night out with music.

Terry and I were visiting Caurel and opted to have lunch in L'auberge after reading it's excellent reviews. What a gem of a restaurant !! Simple and quirky layout with a large spacious and bright downstairs dining room, as well as a smaller intimate dining...area and bar upstairs. The menu du jour offered an excellent choice of starters and mains, and at a price of 13euros also included desert and a carafe of wine. Terry opted for the prawns and I opted for the onion tart ~ our starters were delicious. We both opted for the veal as our plat chaude (other choices were fish and ham). Our veal was cooked to perfection and was really tender, served with boiled potatoes and a kind of veggie tart. The fact that our plates were left empty is a sign of an excellent meal. Our choice of desert was simple, ice cream. The perfect complement to an excellent dinner. In summary, an excellent discovery that we hope to go back to soon.More

What value for an excellent three-course meal, plus appetisers and 1.5l water and 0.5l house wine! Add to this the excellent setting, friendly easy-going atmosphere and the helpful staff, it was both a meal to remember and a reason to book another meal date! Fantastic!

We were staying in a gite in Caurel last week. There are three dining facilities in the village of Caurel to choose from however, they all appear to open on different days. We tried Auberge de Guerledan on our last night and it was terrific.....service,...food, drinks. We highly recommend that should you be in the area, give it a try.....you will not be disappointed...however, please remember to reserve a table as we watched as fourteen people were turned away as it was fully booked.....More

I'm sorry but I don't know. I'm English. I think you are asking about taking a dog to the restaurant? I'm sorry I can't help to answer your question.
