Arrived outside this restaurant on day two of our holiday, ravenous and baked by the unfamiliar sunshine. Restaurant had a tempting menu and fans blasting so we went in. What a lucky find this was. Menu was varied and very reasonably priced. Restaurant family run by family members who had an obvious pride in their establishment and wanted us to... More

Arrived at 8pm. We were given 1 menu as they were short of them, eventually got a second. We chose ordered and waited for a drink, I had a gin & tonic but was not given a can or bottle of tonic, instead I was given a glass of flat gin & tonic, way too strong so I asked for... More

This taverna is situated on the road to the beach near the hospital. Visited 5 times. Great welcome by Chris, who always had time for a little chat and laugh. Lovely traditional Cypriot food, always well cooked and tasty. Best mousaka and sieftalia ever and excellant house red wine. Loved our evenings here, met some lovely people here who have... More

This restaurant is on the road down to Polis beach so away from the town square area but worth going that bit further for. This is a family run taverna where the welcome is warm and the food is fresh and delicious. The village wine was excellent too. We spent a couple of very relaxed, enjoyable evening here. Excellent value... More

Friendly family run taverna. Delicious homemade food at a reasonable price. Off the beaten track (on the road down to the beach) but worth going.

We decided to take a break from Polis Square and made the short walk down to Karouzis. The host greeted us warmly and we picked a table. As we speak a little Greek, he actively helped us practice and taught us to recognise a couple of local expressions. After ordering, the drinks arrived and we sat back to relax in... More

We had wanted to visit this restaurant last year when we visited Polis but it wasn't open. We were delighted to see it had re-opened this year and it did not disappoint. It is in a lovely setting with superb authentic food at very reasonable prices. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We have been coming to this restaurant for the past 17 years. The food is superb and the atmosphere is brilliant. Situated on the outskirt of the village it is lovely and peaceful.

Thank Kate F
