Having tried quite a few Indian restaurants in the paphos area, l had almost given up on having a nice curry. This particular restaurant was recommended by some friends that also live in paphos. We have since visited the restaurant and had our meal delivered,...all l can say is the food is first class every time. The prices are higher than those back in Manchester, but as a special treat now and again it doesn't really matter....More
We had a takeaway from Curry House on 2 January. We used the very useful online portal to place our order.
We collected our order from the restaurant. We were greeted warmly by one of the owners, Urszula.
We had ordered 2 starters and 2...mains.
The food was superb; with each dish cooked perfectly to our liking.
Best Indian restaurant in Cyprus.More
We’d booked. They said that they were open for meals in.
We got there, five people were waiting for takeaways. At least two of these were unhappy with the wait.
We sat down and waited and waited.
Twenty minutes later I went up to ask if...they’d forgotten us? I was met with total indifference and even rudeness.
I only wanted to know if they were serving? I was told that he was on his own and we could go else where or wait another 15 minutes.
We left and won’t be going back there.More
We had our last meal out here before lockdown, and were recognised and greeted by the owner almost as old friends, despite having been only once before, some years ago. We ordered various different styles of Indian food, and everything was delicious, served by knowledgeable,...helpful staff.More
Finding an Indian restaurant that serves quality Indian food is much more difficult in Cyprus than it is in the UK. We went here on the recommendation of a British work colleague who assured me it was the best they had tried in Cyprus.
We...were not disappointed. The food was amazing. The Andhra Pulusu curry with king prawns and tarka daal had layers of flavour, the naan breads were fresh, soft and fluffy and the chicken tikka masala was rich, creamy with balanced flavours of yoghurt and tomato. The mango kulfi we had for desert was also made in-house and was superb.
In terms of food quality, this place easily competes with most of the higher-end Indian restaurants I've tried in the UK. The only conceivable detractor was the wait time for the food which was around half an hour, but this personally wasn't a problem because we weren't in any rush and the food was worth the wait. Will definitely return for a curry fix!More
My husband and I came this evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food, which really was excellent. The Pashwari Naan was so lovely and the onion bhaji with the home made chutneys were excellent. We are thoroughly looking forward to coming back!
Arrived early and there was only 5 other people in the restaurant
Ordered our food and drinks and after 20 mins they arrived with some free popadoms. After a further 45 mins our starters arrived those were ok. After another hour our mains arrived I...had ordered a vindaloo and have eaten this curry all over the world but this curry was so hot I couldn't even finish it. I questioned this and was told a vindaloo is hot
We ordered 2 Tia Mia coffees only to be served with gone off milk
The whole night was a waste of time the bill was €70 and they are lucky I didn't walk out without paying
If your in paphos I suggest there are at least 5 other places that are 10 times better than this place
I will not be backMore
