A night to remember in Paphos.We do not have many good experiences in Paphos concerning food so this was a great surprise.
A lovely yard full of trees,tables with chess tableclothes, polite smiley (behind the mask) and efficient waiters.The food was exceptional.
Whatever we had was in the correct portion and very very tasty.Especially the kolokithokeftedes (zucchini balls) and anthoi with fetta (the zucchini flower staffed with fetta cheese) the grilled halloumi and lountza.The freshly cut potatoes, the pagidakia ( lamb chopes).Everything was perfect.And a final note.They make their own tahini,tzatziki,tirokafteri.They do not use ready made ones.This means that the owners love what they are doing.

Excellent atmosphere and friendly environment, you can pick any meze from the menu. Many vegetarian options, and amazing meat "treats". Highly recommended.
Very good prices. Family of 4 and with 2 bottles of wine, we paid around 100 euro.

Went there on recommendation from a local. Enjoyed fresh food, hospitable hosts in a beautiful planted yard . Great that you can choose the meze plates you want. Must definitely book to avoid disappointment.

I was greatly awestruck by how rude and dismissive and idifferent the owner was upon entering the restaurant. I am suprised on how you even has a licence by the Cyprus Tourism organisation to operate a business setting which requires courtesy, hospitality warmth and strong customer care skills. Upon sitting on the table instead of clarifying that the menu is only accompanied on each table uniquely and not on each customer individually, instead I was welcomed with a complete arrogant and imperious manner, highly sarcastic and completely ditasteful for a customer care issue. Atrocious service and I am suprised that this business has not been locked up yet. Apart from that, the food quality was nothing special and completely repetitive as in other cypriot meze restaurants. Unoriginal and mass produced for the sake of money obtainment. Furthermore, the prices are far from economical, overpriced and do not reflect neither the quality nor the quanitity of the products. This is the first and the last I have visited this place and I will never visit again.

I have called to reserve a 2 person table and they told me that it is ol. After a walk of 30 minutes from accommodation to restaurant they have told me that everything is booked without respect an i had to go to another place. Worst experience in a 7 days journey in Cyprus.

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of awful. My wife made a booking well in advance, but when we arrived, the owner seemed completely unaware of it. Instead of apologising, I was met with rude and dismissive behaviour, as if it was our fault for their mistake.
The level of customer service was shocking. The owner not only failed to acknowledge their error but treated me with complete disrespect. I was left waiting for an unreasonable amount of time with no proper communication or concern for my reservation.
A restaurant’s atmosphere is as important as the food, and when the owner himself displays such unprofessional behavior, it leaves a sour taste that no dish could make up for. I won’t be coming back, and I certainly can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good service.

So, We went last week with some friends to try out , because many friends of us suggested this tavern.
Not the best location. But good try with how the restaurant was decorated.
Service was not the best , the owner of the place was very nice and helpful, honestly that man was trying his best .. but I guess he didn’t make good choice with the choice of his coworkers .
The food was very tasty . But kindly overpriced.
And a friendly advice, don’t order halloumi, except if you want to have a spoon of the Dead Sea 😂

We had some amazing Greek Cypriot food at the tavern and the service was excellent. The prices were really reasonable despite what some others have said on here.

We were rejected, because we are German. Tried to book a table via phone, after I was asked, if we are German, the service person hung up and blocked the number. 😂
So I guess, only for locals.

After looking at previous reviews we still went to the restaurant. They have a different way of doing things and the waiter helped with our order and throughout checked we were happy. The waiters way could be taken as being off but that's just the way he was and def nothing to complain about.
Food was outstanding. We had an array of food which came out when it was ready. Just the way they do it there. No complaints and def more than enough food that was ordered for 4 people. Very helpful friendly staff.
Would recoomend if your looking for local Cypriat food.
