EXCELLENT PARTY NIGHT
This is the 3rd time we have been to the 5th Floor Restaurant and i highly recommend it. We attended their New Years Eve Party and it was superb. The atmosphere and staff were great. The selection of food from the buffet...was really good and lots of it. There music was great and the restaurant was completely full with over 250 people there. We were a group of 13 and everyone had a great time. At midnight we had a wonderful view of the fireworks at the harbour. The design and quality of the restaurant is excellent. It is on the top floor of the building and has great panoramic sea views across Paphos.
Photographs of this place in local advertising look impressive... but they were probably taken many years ago. In reality the 5th Floor is tired and dated although it does try to impress. Although a large venue, we were the only two that showed up for...lunch. Service is minimal as you might expect for a buffet but this was a lonely experience. So the buffet…. well it had been set out for hours and the plates were stone cold. Some unappetising salad items to start with along with a cold pizza square to pad it out a bit. Back up for the mains and a selection of roast chicken pieces that had dried out under the heat lamp or perhaps a helping of paella with a crusty old prawn in it, or there were three other dishes that were hard to identify. Actually, the home made chips looked good but again they had been sat there for some time and were only just warm. We didn't bother with the simple sweets that were available but finished our drinks and put the visit down to experience. Perhaps an evening visit would tell a different story but lunch is a huge disappointment on all levels, especially the 5th!More
We have used this restaurant over a few years now. In our opinion this is the best restaurant in Paphos. Due to the height of the location you can see the views all over Paphos whilst dining.
The food is fabulous and matches any top...restaurant in the west end of London for quality and flavour. The wine list offers a great variety to choose from and at all prices.
The young lady who has served us over the last three years takes real pride in making you feel welcome and gives a high standard of service. Thank you Paris.
We look forward to our next visit in March for some more lovely evenings to spend there.More
2 days ago, I visited with my friends for lunch this amazing restaurant with the stunning view. It was the first time we have ever visited 5th floor but not the last. The food on the buffet was delicious and the service was excellent. If...you wanna have some excellent food, a high service quality while you enjoy this amazing view, I highly recommend it.More
I saw this place advertised and let myself be convinced by the view pictures.
We took family with us for the experience ... I didn’t know where to hide from embarrassment when we had a look at the buffet.
It looked quite empty, boring and...tasteless.
To top it up, the food was cold (all of it).
The dessert, was a disgrace. It was so obvious there used to be a cake sometime in history that they presented to us in 2 uneven pieces , of which one also had holes in it, most probably from birthday candles.
It made me think of the cake we had in our own fridge which was 5 days old and still looked more appetizing than that.
I didn’t dare ask my father how much he paid. This was the biggest fail in terms of food I have ever been to in the past 10 years.More
We had enjoyed a buffet dinnet which was for all the choirs participating in the 29th Pancyprian Choir Festival in Paphos.
The selection ,quality and service offered for so many people all at once was very good ,could not be faulted.
The outstanding feature of this restaurant is the panoramic view over Paphos. The selection of foods was amazing and the deserts incredible, what was really nice. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!
