Stunning views, must go for the sunset!

After walking past this bar on our way into Paphos we said we must try, the whole look of the place is top notch, with stunning views to watch the sunset. So we popped in a following evening, the service was good however not the most attentive , we were seated to a table and scanned the barcode to take a look at the menu, we decided what we wanted but it took a while for the waiter to take our order. Once the drinks came they were delicious, a bit pricey but you don’t mind paying when you get the view that you do!

Having visited many places worldwide, i was very impressed by Antasia! The location is awesome, directly on the beach! The design top noch. The service was absolutely perfect and faultless, the food eclectic, impeccable and the Manager Mr Velikov is a high professional, adding to the whole venue a top class value. Thank you, we will return again and again and fully recommend Antasia.

Dinner with a sunset view

On our first night in Paphos we decided to try this restaurant/bar, it definitely did not disappoint! This place offers a relaxing beach front atmosphere for both drinks and food, it's a great place to watch the sunset. Downstairs is where the restaurant is located, it provides both indoor and outdoor seating, we definitely would recommend booking as it does get busy especially on an evening. The food here was top quality; starting our meal off we shared vegetable and duck spring rolls which came with two different dips, the vegetable ones were nice but we would highly recommend the duck ones! Although this restaurant is classed as an Asian restaurant, the menu covers other cuisines as well, ensuring there is something for everyone. For the main course, we had the Mediterranean Seabass and the tomato pizza, both of these dishes were delicious. This restaurant is a little pricer than other restaurants we visited in Paphos but we did expect this due to the location and the quality of the food. We also returned to the bar on another evening during our visit to watch the sunset, which again was lovely. We both opted for a mojito which was great quality and definitely good value for money. We would definitely recommend this bar/restaurant and would return even if it was just for drinks, should we ever decide to come back to Paphos. It definitely set the standard high for the rest of our trip!

A bit of a let down at the moment needs improvement.

Whilst the building and the environment was lovely we were very disappointed with our lunch. I had the vegetable spring rolls to start and they were very greasy and not very tasty. My husband had the duck rolls and he said they were fine. For main I had a sashimi tuna salad and it was an abomination. Very very poor standard completely at odds with the vibe we were expecting. My husband had the prawn burger and he said it was disappointing. Not many prawns and served with potato’s which was odd. I had 2 cocktails and they were very good well balanced and served beautifully. The service wasn’t on point. They we’re going for silver service 5 star but didn’t quite hit that. We definitely wouldn’t eat there again unless the standard is improved, we have eaten regularly at the sister hotels and establishments the Annabelle and the Anassa and the standard falls well below these. We would go to the beach and drink in the roof top bar though.

We had lunch elsewhere and had strolled along the seafront and stopped for a drink and to admire the seaview. I almost fell of my chair when I received the bill for 2 drinks - a very small glass of wine was 7 euros and was like the village kokonelli wine, just about drinkable. As for the beers, very limited choice and still charged 5 euro for a bottle of Corona. I don't usually write reviews as I don't see things changing but this place takes the biscuit for pricing! The restaurant we had lunch at the wine was only 3 euro a glass and it was filled to the top of Kolios wine which is a very nice wine not like the muck servied at the Antasia! If you want to be ripped off please visit here! NEVER AGAIN and I live here!

Beautiful place, nice view, shocking service!

The review from Bernard B is almost word for word what I was going to say. Waiting at what turned out to be one of 2 entrances. Member of staff showed the two girls in front of us to their table and then just never reappeared. I stuck my head in after about 5 mins and saw she was leading another couple that had just walked up to the other entrance straight in, totally forgetting she’d left us stood at the other entrance! I walked over to her and told her we’d been waiting, she apologised breezily and then showed us to a table. We downloaded the menu and then waited, and waited and waited. Managed to get the attention of a lady in front of us that was clearing a table (looking down the whole time, no awareness or checking customer we’re ok as she went about her business). Someone took our order (by this time we’ve been there 30 mins) and then about 15 mins passed with a nice view but no drinks! After 54 mins in there and basically being ignored we decided to leave without getting our bottle of wine. We saw two other couples do exactly the same. I saw plenty of staff for the volume of people in there, yet they were just not attentive in the slightest. We experienced far better service in busier tavernas throughout our stay. It’s a shame as I was excited to visit here after following them on IG and admiring the sushi. We were just having a drink that night with a view to going back another night for food. We didn’t return and won’t be going when we visit Paphos again next year either. Need to do better than just a pretty view. It seems the service is really hit and miss. Wish we’d been one of the people able to write a glowing review.

Awful service

We had been staying not far from this bar so decided to have a nice walk along the sea front and check it out, looks really smart seems like a nice vibe and good music. Unfortunately it's massively let down by incredibly incompetent staff, they take forever to come to take your drinks order I mean literally 20mins after we arrived to the point I had to bring a waiter over myself to our table. Drinks finally arrived, they were well presented and quite good so no complaints there. After finishing up we asked for the bill, I had to go up and and ask 4 times for the bill and this was 20 mins after asking for it initially, the bar was not busy there was probably 10 customers in at the time, so I have no idea what the staff were doing, apart from smoking and playing on there phones! Really sad considering how beautiful the bar and surrounding area is, stay away if you want more than 1 drink within a 2 hour period.

Antasia Beach Club is a very unusual looking structure, however it’s modern, catching design make it stand out as an interesting place you’d want to visit. We were seated on the rooftop bar overlooking the sea. The view was amazing, The small sushi platter we ordered, my partner and I both agreed, that it had to be the best tasting and most well presented sushi we’d ever had. The 2 cocktails (Zombie & Sakura) tasted lovely and were also beautifully presented… But what really made this visit special was the chilled ambiance and the superb staff. From the lovely smiling hostess who seated us, the charming, chatty and super friendly English waiter who looked after us, to the hard working bar staff….we felt so relaxed and welcome. Thanks Antasia, we wish you every success.

The worst restaurant we have ever went to. The one glass was dirty, it had lipstick on it from before. When we told the waiter he didn’t even tell us sorry he just bringed another one. The food wasn’t nice and it was very expensive. I had something with chicken and green curry, it didn’t even taste curry and it was terrible. We left from there feeling ill from the food

Honeymoon perfection

This was the most beautiful setting for a fantastic meal to celebrate our honeymoon. We stumbled across the rooftop bar first and had a great night-great music, the loveliest staff and just a fun atmosphere. We then were told about the restaurant downstairs overlooking the beach-we booked for the next night and arrived at 7:30 (sunset was around this time and definitely book for that time because it was magical). If I could give Antasia more stars than 5 I would, the staff were professional and friendly. So quick to top up your drink and make sure everything was perfect. The sunset whilst we had cocktails was so romantic but the food was out of this world. It’s recommended to have 4 but we couldn’t decide between them so had 7-the miso cod and the sea bass sushi were our favourites. Big thank you to Giorgos and the rest of the team for making it such a special night!

High expectations as we were waiting for this to be built for 2 years. Having been there it is clear that the details were not complete and the spiral staircase is not ready. The bar should not have been opened in my opinion but I assume it was delayed due to Covid and they wanted it open for the summer months. Service was a little slow (we were constantly looking to order from someone), and the window pains in front were dirty with bird droppings. This is particularly unfortunate as it takes away from the gorgeous sea view. The windows need to be cleaned daily... drinks were tasty although we did have to wait a while for them.

Not a proper beach club

We booked 4 sun loungers at the Beach Club & lunch in the restaurant. The positives: The restaurant was excellent, service & food. We would definitely return in the evening for dinner & to watch the sun set. The negatives: The Beach Club has no toilets or showers, we were directed to the community Beach facilities nearby & weren’t allowed to use the restaurant toilets until we had showered off the sand. Fair enough but these should be provided. We were told the WiFi code & assumed it was free, only to find we’d been charged €5 per pair of sun loungers (which we’d paid €15 for). What a con! We didn’t even need WiFi but thought we’d use as it was offered. There was no mention of a charge. Verdict: Anatasia Beach Club is disjointed. It seems like two separate venues, a private beach with loungers but no other facilities, and a restaurant. Would we revisit? Yes to the restaurant. No to the beach club.

Worth a visit!

Lovely place with the most amazing views. Agree with other reviews, there are 2 entrances and we stood there for a few minutes while staff members looked at us and didn’t come over, eventually we went down the spiral stairs and was greeted straight away by a member of staff who seated us and from then on the service was great and very attentive so couldn’t fault it! They also offered to bring a blanket if we got cold! The food was delicious and everything arrived quickly! It’s not the cheapest in comparison to other places we visited but it’s on a par with what we would usually pay in England so we were not put off by this. This is a must go place to watch the sunset.

Amazing food and service!

Such a nice atmosphere, the restaurant and rooftop bar are very smart. All of the staff were so friendly and attentive. We ordered quite a few different dishes from the menu and all of the food was outstanding. We got all our food very quickly and the waiters explained to us what each dish was when they brought it. We are already planning to go back to try the lunch menu. Definitely recommend visiting if you are in paphos!

Winter time on Sundays while the DJ plays his uplifting music , an attentive and professional team serves crafted burgers and light crispy waffles prepared by an enthusiastic and talented chef who knows how to put a smile on your face.
