We have been going to The Almond Tree since we were first introduced to it in 2002. We have never been disappointed with the standard of food served by Andreas. Tonight was exceptional. The restaurant was fully booked and a four course set menu was both beautifully presented as well as being full of flavour. Tres is vegetarian and Andreas... More

We visited last week for a peaceful evening meal. The menu has some Asian-inspired dishes in addition to more standard choices, although many of these have an interesting twist such as burnt honey sauce with the duck. There are, of course, plain grilled steaks etc, so something to suit most palates.

We felt very uncomfortable at this restaurant. The tables are far to close to each other and there is no privacy. We could hear every word of the conversation the couple next to us were saying; it was very awkward. For a fine-dining experience, the food was good, but not exceptional. The salad was just like any other salad you... More

We have now been coming to Paphos for 15 years and we always pay a visit to this restaurant. It never disappoints. The menu is extensive, the food top quality, and the service excellent. The waiter who has worked there for some time even remembers our favourite wine and after meal liqueur which is very welcoming. It is a little... More

We have not used this restaurant for over 5 years, since moving out of the area, we did use it regularly, but it became a bit boring, got expensive, and the menu never changed. Only because we couldn't get into our first choice restaurant, we came back to give a try, as we had again heard good things about it,... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for 16 years. BUT last nights offering was disappointing. My husband ordered a fillet steak which was superb BUT was accompanied by 12 small manky chips and a tablespoonful of veg. An absolute miniscule portion. My wok dish was superb. We had 1 beer, and 1 soda. Total bill 44 euros. No starters, no... More

The food here is always of a very high standard and beautifully presented . The menu never appears to change though and they always seem to be short staffed. More expensive than a lot of restaurants in Paphos but worth a visit as a dining experience.

We had been told about this by our neighbours , we would never have found it otherwise . I had deep fried halloumi as a starter and asked for a starter portion of the mushrooms done in a sauce with cheese , it was very tasty and rich so just the right amount . It is a different menu ,... More
