Amazing, well priced food in a very cozy setting, the staff were really friendly and so were the cats :) I recommend the Kleftiko personally, my partner had the keftedes which I tried and I must say, they were incredible also… however if you want...a real treat then I recommend visiting on a Sunday and reserving yourself a portion of their suckling pig. There are a few cats in the restaurant, so if you really don’t like cats then maybe it’s not the place for you (and probably neither is Cyprus to be honest lol), however they are friendly and if you leave them be then they won’t bother you, but you can call them over and interact with them as they are very friendly.More

This place looked really lovely so thought we’d give it a try. Staff were rude and never around when we needed something, they forgot a starter TWICE then didn’t even bother to apologise! Kids meals are 9.50 euros and very small portions compared to other...restaurants, small carton of juice for kids costs 3.5 euros. Tried to bring out mains before bringing out the starter they forgot , again no apologies. Took ages to get someone over to ask for the bill then when it came, it was slammed down in front of me. Worst experience so far.More

Nice enough restaurant. Had the lamb souvla. Have to say there was more bone than meat, so not the best cuts of meat. Salad was fresh and good. This might have been a 4 star if I had chosen the chicken souvla

This is not a review of the food unfortunately. This restaurant is the location for the bus pick up for the airport for Jet2. We were advised to wait there for the bus last Sunday, 12th May. We arrived early and straight away we were...invited by a very nice member of staff to sit and wait at one of the tables. There was anther couple waiting, and the lady had obviously broken her leg, which was in a cast. Someone had already provided her with a chair so that she could sit comfortably while she waited. The bus arrived but a car was parked in the bus bay so we had to walk further down the road to board it. Immediately two more staff ran to carry the lady’s luggage to the bus. The staff were lovely and very kind to us all. I regret that we didn’t have time to eat there or even buy a drink. We intend to visit Paphos again so we will be visiting this restaurant. Thank you to all for your kindness.More

The last time I visited Paphos was pre-covid and clearly a lot has changed! What has not changed is the excellent food served at Hondros, which has been my experience many times over. A local gem with rustic charm! As mentioned in many reviews, the...smell of the meat cooking on the rotisserie drawers you in, it’s hard to resist. I ordered the aubergine starter, which was very tasty. Description on the menu a little misleading as clearly the aubergine was not stuffed. For the main I opted for the Kleftiko, which was perfectly cooked and a decent size portion. I washed the rather delicious meal down with the local white wine, which was nice and crisp and not too dry. I look forward to visiting Paphos again and dining at Hondros.More

Oldest traditional restaurant in Paphos. Hard to order anything but the souvlaki after seeing and smelling the pork and chicken rotating at the entrance. Phenomenal kleftiko and wonderful stifado.

in a place full of average resturants claiming to be traditional, this was. I went three times over two weeks, had three different starters and mains and enjoyed them all. Highlight starter probably their house salad - not innovative just fresh and hug. Higlight main...was suckling pig! Clientel was mixed with plenty of locals as well as tourists. Service highlu effiecent, freindly without being effusive. local carafe wine very quaffable too.More

We ordered the fish meze. The meze was overall good, fish was fresh and we enjoyed it. The service however was not good. It was not welcoming and seemed like the waiters just did not care about us. We have experienced only the best service...staying here in Paphos, this was sadly an unpleasant experience.More

Fantastic place. Authentic food and welcoming staff. Food is very fresh, you can taste it. Definitely one of the most traditional taverns I’ve eaten at. If you’re looking for a local experience then this is it!
