We were after an evening meal and had read the good reviews of Pizzaiola. There are just a few tables outside so we decided to order a takeaway - it would have been nice to rest our legs and have our pizza there with a...drink, but we took it back to where we were staying (nearly a mile on foot) and by then it was almost cold. Our margherita was freshly made in front of us and then placed into a wood oven before our eyes. It took about 10 minutes and it was fun to watch the process. We thought it was superb - lovely crust and delicious topping - the tomato paste sauce was intensly tomatoey and the cherry tomatoes just added to the flavour. Next time we visit, we'll see if we can find a table and have a hot pizza!More
