Excellent fresh Meze. Everything made from scratch, and meats cooked to perfection. Probably the best meal we had whilst on holiday. The owner and chef, was very friendly and explained how he made everything, if you are a foodie you’ll love it here.

We went there as it looked like the more hygienic halal place to eat. The food was amazing. They do have pork on the menu and serve alcohol but we were assured the pork dishes are cooked separately. The owner/cook served us a complimentary Fatoush...salad which was the best fatoush i’ve had. And there were so many things on the menu that I have never seen in the UK. He even chatted with us for a long time giving me tips on how to make some of the dishes. The son and the wife were also great hosts and so were the employees. They kept apologising for the delay as they had 2 big parties dining in and hence were very busy. We did not book and there were 6 of us and they accomodated us. It was also great to be able to eat outdoors without cats staring at your food. All the food served were well-marinated and freshly cooked. Thanks again for making my brother’s day and our family holidays better after some exhausting days in Cyprus.More

My family and I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. We were adviced to opt for meze. Luckily for us it was the correct choice. The taboulli and fatoush salads were refreshing. The dips were mouthwatering. Each one with its own flavour. I would recommend...the moutapal. (Aubergine purred). The felafel were fantastic and the cheese and meat pies were crispy and tasty. Then came the restaurant s speciality which was the roast lamb with rice. Last but not least came the Shish taouk and kafta. So tasty and succulent. The staff were friendly and attentive. They made my birthday really great. Thank you. We will be back very soon.More

We arrived with a larger group, and the food was excellent. Food intolarence was solved in a flexible way. I am greaful for the hosting. Atmosphere was great, good, international music: that is a plus too. Lamb with cinemon(as we guessed) is something I have...never tied before, it was something very special for me. Thanks for everything!More

Really disappointed after our meal here last night given the rave reviews and high ratings from previous diners. We ordered a couple of mains and after asking if mine was going to come with rice or salad was told it would be a complete meal...and I didn’t need to order anything else. That was a mistake - ended up with a smallish kebab and some leftover cold bread to eat it with. I had a couple of mouthfuls of my dining companion’s rice - I was glad they were happy to share! The staff ignored us after initial service and we weren’t offered coffee or dessert or checked in with to see if the food was ok. The atmosphere was also poor as the restaurant was completely empty (one other diner) and the music was loud techno - out of keeping with the surrounds and didn’t help us enjoy our evening. I’ve only made this a three as the main course was tasty even if small, but would not dine here again.More

I love Lebanese and Middle Eastern foods in general and have enjoyed it all over the world - from small stalls to the most luxurious restaurants around, so I know a thing or two about this subject! I should have known by the name that...this was not going to be an authentic Lebanese restaurant. Why name a Lebanese restaurant after an Egyptian queen? Still, Trip Advisor reviews and photos on the website looked good, so we gave it a go. Firstly, the food we ordered looked nothing like the photos; especially noticeable was the small portion sizes by comparison to the photos. The houmous was the worst I tasted in a restaurant. No taste, wet texture, no tahini, no olive oil, no garnish - and a baby portion to add insult to injury. The flatbread came out in a plastic bag; clearly it was just microwaved. This makes it go very chewy and inedible. No self respecting Lebanese restaurant should put out microwaved flatbread on the table. The Tabouleh salad started off well. Looked nice with a lot of herbs but unfortunately the chef used far too much citric acid which was quite noticeable. Again, I’d expect a lemony zing and sometimes citric acid is used to enhance the sharpness but this was way too much! I could go on, but basically everything we ordered was close to the dish we expected but not quite right: mostly the flavours were not representative of an authentic Lebanese food experience. With a big Arab community in Limassol we expected high quality when we went to Cleopatra, but we left hugely disappointed.More

Located in John Kennedy Street, Limassol, this delightful Lebanese and Cypriot restaurant is a joy and an experience. The Maitre D and his kindly staff are efficient and friendly, and their superb menu offers all you could wish for in a Lebanese and Cypriot restaurant....Lebanon and Cyprus share many dishes, as they are a mere 240 kilometres apart by boat. Try their sea bream fresh from the Mediterranean, the mezze starter with garlic hummus, and, my favourite - the lamb kofta with flavoured rice. Zenon serves an excellent Gin and Tonic, the desserts are varied and wonderful, and you might conclude your evening with an Arak or a freshly ground Greek coffee. You shall be treated like royalty by this lovely staff. A further special mention to our excellent young waiter from Yemen. Once you dine at Cleopatra, you shall return... Mumtaz to all.More
