Selected this restaurant after fancying some European Food for Wifes 40th Birthday. The setting is lovely with the castle opposite lit up. We were warmly greeted by the front of house lady & swiftly offered drinks. We were brought a glass of soup on the...house which was delicious. The starter of Calamari was plentiful, well presented & among the best calamari Ive ever had. The King Prawn spaghetti main was amazing. Freshly cooked pasta, delicious big king prawns, tasty cheese & yummy sauce. Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, delicious food & nice setting. Nice place to be but the food wasn't as good as it could be. If you go to a such beautiful and expensive restaurant you expect a meal much more than an average one. The rib eye stake was less than average , the pork...filet was just a piece of meat, there was only one kind of non alcohol beer to choose from! The other friends left their food in their plates but I did not ask them why, as I was the one who invited them. The place is very well designed with comfortable corner sofas and chairs in beautiful colours and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.More

I have been many times to this restaurant but for the last few months the food is not as good as it used to be. The waitress are good, attentive and very helpful but the food is average. The vegetables do not taste very good,...they taste as it is frozen.. too much cauliflower and it does not go with all dishes! The quality of the food and presentation does not have the same care, standards and taste as it used to in the past.. I am disappointed and unfortunately I wont go backMore

It’s seems like the quality and the service is declining. Not only is, but on other tables guests had to raise their hands several times in order for a waiter to go to they table. It wasn’t a busy night either. I ordered my favourite...dish, which was served at room temperature. Not to mention the mash potatoes where left to dry! ShameMore

The main dishes (lamb and seafood) and the dessert were excellent! The service was great, too - the stuff was so lovely and very caring without being intrusive. The location is pretty nice, located next to the old castle, and we really liked the modern...design in pastel colours in combination with the old stone of the building itself. In our opinion the price is fair, too. We really enjoyed our late lunch in this nice restaurant.More
