I live in Larnaka and have been to Lush a few times over the years. I went there on a weeknight, having not been there for over a year. Overall everything was very nice. Our waitress was extremely friendly and accomodating, the atmosphere was very...nice. The criticisms I have are the following. The music was a bit too loud during meal service. We were there early evening and left at around 21:30. Yes you want some music, and the music was really nice just a bit too loud whilst you're having dinner as it makes it hard to talk. Pump it up after 22:00. The chairs were really uncomfortable. Hard and wooden with no cushion on. The decor overall used to be a lot nicer, warmer, comfortable, and more inviting. When paying 250euros for a meal you expect at least a comfy chair. I had the Sea Bass as the main course which is served with three types of puree. This dish could've been sensational. The fish itself was delicious. Cooked and presented beautifully....really great. The purees ruined it though. One puree would've been enough, with the addition of something solid, either a vegetable element or potato would've been a great improvement. My daughters had the rib eye steak which was served with fries and a skewer of grilled vegetables, which I stole ( as they don't love veg ) and I enjoyed that with my fish. The other criticism is that the main courses came way too soon before we had finished our starters even. This really can ruin an evening, as it goes from a nice leisurely enjoyable meal with a break in-between to a rush job. It's not a fast-food restaurant. So I suggest to diners that aren't in a hurry to tell your server to not bring out the mains too soon. All of the above won't stop me from coming back again, but it may not be my first choice.More

The place is set on the beach from but the view are somewhat obscured by the parasols and cabanas in front. Nice sitting area outside as well aS inside. Service is reasonable and friendly. However the food takes a while to arrive. The sushi in...this place used to be one of the best but since last year, the must have changed the chef. The Maki rolls are now all covered with a paste like substance on top which appeared to be a thick very rich Thousand Island dressing mixed with Cayenne pepper. It was nearly inedible and had to scrape It off to be able to to eat the rolls.More

The atmosphere here was amazing. If you are sitting outside, you are right next to the sea which is perfect! The food was to die for too, I had the chicken and prawn penne in white wine sauce, would definitely recommend! The service was a...little slower than normal but overall I would definitely go again, it was lovely! They have a big cocktail menu but also have a wine menu too!More

We have been twice to this restaurant and both times have been fantastic. It’s right on the beach front, it is child friendly, the atmosphere is great, the ambiance is awesome and the people are great. We have had excellent food as well as desserts.

The restaurant overlooks Makenzie Beach, with outside and inside seating. The menu is large with Cypriot dishes international cuisine and sushi We had a collection of starters, tempura prawns - a bit heavy on the batter but otherwise good, a platter of 16 sushi which...was excellent. The big let down was the calamari, overcooked, chewy and tasteless We had salads for the mains - seafood, goat and Greek, all good and in generous portions. We also had a plate of Maki Yasai, which was good. We also shared a bowl of fries We had 2 bottles of the excellent Cypriot White wine - Zambertas Xynist. I must also mention the very good fresh bread we were initially served The service was very goodMore

When we visit Mackenzie beach we usually eat at Ammos. As it happened it was closed for renovations so we ventured further along to Lush. Overall we were satisfied. The service was excellent. Only a couple of complaints: the calamari was pretty bad - when...it first came I actually thought they were onion rings - very thin, chewy and overdone. We were still eating our appetisers when the main dishes appear. Fortunately they were just salads so we asked them to hold on to them until we were ready.More

Came here for a drink with my girlfriend on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. We were the only couple there and were told not to play cards or relax on the sofas outside. Instead we had to listen to the constant drilling of them dismantling the...beach bar. Very unreasonable. Rules for no reason.More

Beautiful, just meters from the beach. Even tho it’s close to the airport there’s a great atmosphere having the planes land in the distance as their lights shimmer a reflection on the sea between the palms. We were also blessed with a full moon. The...waiter was very attentive and helpful the food was good with fair prices considering the ambiance and setting. The stretch of beach known as Mackenzie has a dozen or so restaurants, bars and clubs, it’s away from the centre just over 2km but it’s a pleasent walk for those who like to build an appetite and then walk off the meal when they’re done. There is parking (2.5 euros).More
