Valtou Rigani is a restaurant situated in a small pedestrian plaza in the heart of the city of Larnaca. Offering a cozy environment and attention to detail, one can enjoy traditional Greek cuisine consisted of souvlaki, other meat cooked on charcoal, homemade dips, fresh salads and various side dishes. For lunch on weekdays we additionally offer two homemade dishes of the day. Experience the local cuisine with a twist and you will be pleasantly surprised! Our basic menu can be found on our Website and on our Facebook page. If in Nicosia, one can find us at Prevezis 15, near Stasikratous street.

This is a real hidden gem of grill restaurants in Larnaca if you are looking for any, this we definitely recommend. Avoid the seafront line venues, they are overpriced and the quality is really poor. Here you get a perfect combination of quality and price!
Amazing choice of starters, meats on grill, salads…
To be honest, it’s very hard to get enough. The quality of meals are just amazing. Recommend to order more dishes, as they are smaller sizes, so you can really try the specialities.
The staff is amazing, always smiling and very attentive. We visited this restaurant so many times, started in 2023, and this year we came back too…
The manger Lady Jessica is really so nice and friendly… she has a unique style. 🥰

Very tasty food and quick service. We had the homemade salads plate, lamb chops, chips and village salad. Excellent flavors for a reasonable price. The ambience is inviting, clean, open and still cozy. Enjoyable Mediterranean music, not too loud.

This eaterie is laid back and situated in a quiet courtyard off the main very busy arcade area. Nice decor and set up. Food was excellent, really tasty and wholesome. They were very accommodating with a guest who had various intolerances. They couldn’t do enough for him. Special mention to our lovely host Jessica.

Worst place I ate while on vacation in Cyprus! Literally the absolute worst service. We arrived and sat ourselves at an already set and untouched table with menus (probably bc the people before us had the same experience and left). We spent 20 min waiting for someone to acknowledge us. There were 3 workers and not one even said hello or came to get our orders. There were 4/5 uncleaned tables by that time and 3 tables around us had paid (so they did see us). I finally flagged someone down and they put up a finger to hold on a min, 5 min later and still no one. At this point I walked over to the waiters and asked if we could finally order and mentioned we’d been there over 20 min. The woman rudely suggested we were exaggerating. They were so desperate to get out their take away orders that they forgot about everyone else IN the actual establishment! We witnessed multiple people get up and go ask for whatever they needed bc service was that bad. It was too late in the evening to go elsewhere or else we would have. We finally got our food in the strangest order (appetizers came last, meats came out first with salad and no side dishes so by the time my side of fries came, meat was cold.) The shish kebabs and salad were good but our fries were way overcooked. Took another 10 min trying to get the check at the end. Honestly could have walked away and no one would’ve realized. Was really disappointed in this place !!!!

We have discovered this fantastic restaurant while living in Cyprus and returned many times over the last year.
It serves Greek cuisine in the form of many small individual dishes that can be ordered in whatever combination or number of dishes that you desire. The combinations are delicious (can go vegetarian one visit or meat biased the next); the staff so friendly and the quality of food amazing and always delivered so quickly. We love coming back every time!

I would highly recommend this place. I had the selection of homemade dips with pita which were delicious. I followed this with a pork souvlaki and a Greek village sausage, both of which were very tasty. However the outstanding feature was the service. My waiter told me that he was from Bangladesh and had previously worked in a 5* hotel which was of no surprise as his service was exemplary. I hope that the owner realises what an asset he is and no, I am not his mother/sister/best friend in case you're wondering. I just wanted to give credit where credit is due.

The restaurant is typical souvlakeria located within the pedestrian area of Larnaca and can be easily missed. It is well decorated with artistic touch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is efficient. The menu offers large variety of Cyprus specialties. We ordered meze (platter) for 2. It was tasty and delicious. The food is well priced. It was pleasant experience, and we will definitely visit it again when in Cyprus (even if not in Larnaca).

The restaurant itself is very characteristic, very unique in its decoration. However the main star was the food: we ordered the feta cheese in filo pastry and honey and the platter for two, and all was delicious, fresh and well cooked. We drank lemonade with ginger which was very refreshing and tasty. The waiters were lovely, which made it a 5* experience.

Fresh and delicious Food, perfect dessert. I had a salad and meze, all very good and fresh. The dessert wasn’t too sweet, you can feel the flavors and excellent taste. Have lunch here, it’s a hidden gem! Forget the terraces from the Main Street, here is the real Cyprus kitchen.

Great restaurant with very good food.
We ordered different plates(like a small meze) with the group and everything tasted really good. The staff was friendly and even on a busy night their service was excellent and their food delicious.

Best food in Larnaca, everything is delicious especially the courgette ribbons, chicken livers, rocket and fig salad, the origano chips, to name but a few. Very good and polite service from all waiters especially Jessica. Would highly recommend a visit!

Best choice ever! The place is really beautiful, both cosy and trendy, romantic and near the city center’s frenzy. The staff was extremely welcoming and of really good advise.
We had the house cocktails (lemon for me, mint and cucumber for him) and it was delicious. We had a mix of all the homemade dips to start and everything was SO GOOD. You can definitely taste that these are not your regular tzaziki, tahini and friends but much tastier and more delicate (only costed 6.80€ which really is cheap compared to the quality and quantity). We then had some meat (you can chose any meat by piece which is perfect if you wanna try lots of different things on the menu), the feta wrapped in filo (must try), the chicken liver in wine (that’s A LOT to eat by yourself), grilled mushrooms, some more dips and Greek and Cypriot pitta bread... Add half a litre of a pretty good house wine and a big bottle of water, and the check barely made it to 45€.
Our lovely waitress even brought us a little desert on the house.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough, it has everything you need to spend a lovely time, for a few drinks and dips or for a whole night and full belly.

Superb experience here at Valtou, welcomed by their amazing staff who immediately put you at ease. Helped with the menu and we went for the shared platter, turned out to be a great choice. Full of flavour and brought to the table piping hot! Finally had a date night for my wife and I, it was a wonderful evening and would recommend being away from the main strip of restaurants (Finikoudes). We’ll be back next year on our holidays and looking forward to dining with them again.
