pricy shrimps are average quality. served nicely for an average taste. chips, as side dish, are good. problem is that air condition is poor; when eating we had to go out for few minutes to cool down on a crowded Saturday evening.

Nice cosy atmosphere, great service, and authentic Portuguese food. Definitely worth a visit. Like a small piece of Portugal in the middle of Europe.

One of the best portuguese restaurants in Luxembourg. Their bacalhao a bras, the homemade fries and the grilled gambas are simply magnificent

If you like shrimp, this is it. Don't look any further. I don't care about anything else. Just order the grilled shrimp platter, which is basted in garlic sauce. Comes with a bowl of rice and a bowl of fresh, hand cut chips. Wash it all down with a glass of draft beer. Seriously people, shrimpwise, it just doesn't get... More

La Gamba is best for its shrimps and home-made style chips. Everything is better if ordered to share. One of my fav places to come with a group of friends. Service is consistent, never too slow to drive you mad with hunger like other places and wine keeps coming :)

I had dinner at La Gamba and I liked. I ate cod ( bacalhau a braz) which was tasty and juicy. House wine was ok for the price. Staff was attentive and nice. The decoration is classicall/old fashion, and the neighborhood was just OK, not far from the central station. Being Luxemburg an expensive city, price was "a la hauteur".

La Gamba is one the most important "portuguese-food" in Luxembourg city. Taste of food, quality of gamba and in general of portuguese food are really good. The resteraunt is placed in Bonnevoie, not to far to the city center, the place is a bit "old": forget fashion or trendy way but people that working are very nice. Probably a bit... More

If you want to eat the 6 most expensive gambas in town, with chips that taste like puree this is the place to go. Bad service, bad food and awful menu for kids. Expensive and no value for money whatsoever.
