Went there for lunch for business. Beautiful and bright atmosphere, furnished in a modern style. We were welconed by the italian restaurant manager who makes you feel at ease instantely! Thank you Loredana! Food was very tasty. Home made pasta with a divine meat ball sauce, the seabass after that was cooked to perfection and desserts had the right balance between traditional tastes and upscale presentation.
In overall, I would go back without reserve for business ( lunch menu @ 19,50€ starter & main course, desserts @ 10€) but would also try it for my next candle light diner, especially because of the wine card with ok prizes of italian wines!

My wife & I have eaten lunch here twice this year and the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff have been excellent on both visits - which is unfortunately not always true elsewhere! The restaurant has an open/airy/spacious environment and the staff are very friendly. We have often found that restaurants in hotels such as the Sofitel are over-priced or the staff are rude (or both). Thankfully this is not the case here. Why not take advantage of "Resto Days Luxembourg" and try it for yourself! We will definitely return. Congratulations to all of the team at Radici!

Located in the wonderfully appointed and tastefully modern Sofitel of the same address, this Italian restaurant is a real gem of high quality dining with friendly service. It manages to create a genuine atmosphere where you no longer feel part of a hotel which even though the hotel is lovely, you still want to feel that separation and feel that you're on a night out. Once dinner is over, a great bar is just a short walk on the other side of the hotel lobby and then the following morning the hotel's breakfast is served in the restaurant again, just adding to the hotel's quality as the two are totally in support of one another! I know first hand the restaurant caters brilliantly for groups as well and I'd highly recommend the venue!

Working for an Italian company, I have been blessed to share some fantastic Italian meals; this is average. The service was significantly below par, my girlfriend had not finished her first course and the waiter started preparing our TAGLIATELLE ALLA GRANA. It felt rushed instead of a pleasant dining experience. Also, the pasta was cold; maybe they should revisit the cooking method. The selection of anti-pasta seemed like it had been sourced from Sainsbury's in the Uk. Very average. The hotel is great, the bar was very nice, and the majority of the team had been very professional. It was a real shame as it was a friends birthday and the trip advisor review persuaded me that this would be a great place to celebrate. A real shame.

We like to try new restaurants. The resto days event is ideal to get to know the restaurant for a raisonable price.
The proposed menu was very nice. The food was superb! The posta was fresh and the sauce was delicious.
The service was also very good. Every one was very friendly. We asked to wait a bit between the starter and main course and the staff respected our wish.
Only negative point : the price of wine. I suggest putting a few wines on the menu that fall within reasonable price range.

this Italian restaurant is located in the upscale Sofitel hotel in the European institutions district in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. Tat means that patrons are mostly hotel guests of participants of a nearby seminar/conference. We had dinner there and our starters and mains were very decent but not outstanding. My fish main (maigre) was properly cooked "sur peau" but somewhat dry, and the accompanying tomatoes and artichoke hearts a little on the soggy side. The wine selection and serving of the Italian white from Veneto was a little complicated. The wine was simply not brought to the table at the right temperature and it took a while to cool it.... the others were quite happy with their piccate de veau and their tartare...

We were a family group of 11 people and went there to celebrate my parents golden wedding anniversary (50 years) and my daughter's birthday (turning 15). EVERYTHING, from the moment we made the reservation, to the moment we left the restaurant was the best experience. A pleasure, really. The food was fantastic. All of us had a variety of first and second courses, all excellent. Desert was a torta caprese specially ordered for the occasion, but I had the opportunity of tasting the cannoli siciliani at a previous occasion and they were memorable. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, adapt to every request, with a fluidity in service that was perfect (considering we were a big party and ordered a la carte). The premises decoration is beautiful and tasteful. All and all, our experience that day was perfect and one that everyone of us will remember and cherish for a long time. It was an important occasion for us and the staff in Radici made us feel special. Thank you Laura, Sean, Stella (my apologies if I am mispelling your names) for the most beautiful evening, we WILL no doubt go back !

We had dinners in two nights with Sofitel's half board program. The food is very bland and tasteless.
The server insisted on ordering expensive wine over 100 euro repeatedly. Avoid this place as much as you can. Very disappointed for the quality of food and value

We discovered this restaurant during the Resto Days. For us it was the first time.
We tasted the menu imposed during the Resto Days. We were nevertheless able to consult the menu, which offers a choice of Italian dishes.
The meal was delicious. The service was good and the staff very friendly. We had plenty of time to enjoy our menu.
There is also a nice wine list. The only downside is that the bottles are rather expensive and there is a lack of mid-range choice.

Walking past the menu, we were very excited to see Tagliatelle Alla Grana. To have pasta fresh from a wheel of cheese with fresh cracked black pepper sounded like a great way to end our trip. Upon ordering a couple of them, the waitresses failed to inform us that it would be a lukewarm bowl of pasta in what seemed to be Alfredo sauce with no pepper or fresh cheese. Mediocre at best, and for 23 euros a dish, a complete waste. Not only did the pictures on their menu indicate a wheel and a show, but their own Instagram pictures and videos constantly depicted it. There is even a video in the lobby showing the dish made in front of a table with olive oil, fresh parmesan, and black pepper. When we inquired once receiving the dish, we were told something about a broken machine and that it was all they could do. There was no apology or mention of it again.

Radici in the Sofitel Hotel, Luxembourg, truly deserves a perfect 5 out of 5 stars!
The restaurant itself is stunning—beautifully designed with a classy, elegant atmosphere that immediately makes you feel like you’re in for something special. Despite the upscale vibe, the prices are surprisingly fair, which was a pleasant surprise.
I had the Tagliatelle alla Granna, and it was absolutely fantastic. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with rich, bold flavors that made every bite a delight. To top it off, I had the Hazelnut Cake for dessert, and it was divine—nutty, sweet, and just the right amount of indulgent.
On top of the great food and ambiance, the service was wonderful. The waiters were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of without being intrusive. Their warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already wonderful evening.
If you’re in Luxembourg and looking for an exceptional dining experience, Radici at Sofitel is the place to go. Beautiful setting, delicious food, and top-notch service—it doesn’t get much better than that!

Radici restaurant reflects the warmth and hospitality of the Sofitel Luxembourg Europe Hotel. Authentic italian flavors and quality RAW materials are mixed together to obtain an excellent and tasty result. The service Is impeccable, but at the same time warm and nice. Try : the tagliatelle alla Grana, cooked inside a Grana cheese , or mushroom risotto, or swordfish and artichokes caserecce or the simply delicious handmade focaccia with tomatoes and olives..... Not to be missed!

Chef Jann Castano, of whom I am a member, is in mourning. After successfully leading the Argento & Oro boat and then the Radici boat, the chef changed his address to take on new responsibilities elsewhere. Does this mean that Radici will fall into the mediocrity of so many hotel restaurants? We feared it after a meal where we were served Linguine alle vongole, a classic of Italian cuisine: undercooked legs tending to clump together in small packets, and underwashed clam sand creaking between the teeth. We radically changed our review after another meal: as a dish, a risotto mantecato made tasty by the Parmesan Reggiano of Emilia Romagna and black truffle chips from Umbria. As a starter, a few pasta with two gambas (fresh) but what a pasta! homemade buccatini, flavored by cooking (perfect) in a shellfish base; everything is topped with juice (stracciatella) that flows from the sliced burrata and grated lime. It was subtle, fragrant, tasty... incomparable Italian cuisine when it is authentic! Young chef Roberto comes from the bottom of the boot – Calabria – through the Academia Italiana Chef, under the aegis of Sandro Bellucci. To follow...

Very nice restaurant and lovely atmosphere in a super nice hotel. Good service and friendly staff. Wasn't very impressed with the food though. Ate Risotto for starter and chicken for main course and found the food tasteless.

Good looking restaurant with good service.
However unfortunately, the food we got didn’t math our expectations.
We ordered:
Gnochetti with seafood (was ok), Tagliatelle in grana Padana cheese head (love this kind of pasta cooking method, but here they used too strong alcohol for melting the cheese head, resulting in pasta taste like a coctail. got me dizzy! Guys, use low strength grappa, as it looks as you’ve been using pure alcohol - flames were burning long time and with pure blue light), Vegetables in oil(was tasty), chicken tagliatta(was ok),Baba rum/limoncello( how is it possible to spoil such a lovely dessert? It was just white bread buns soaked in spirit and whipoed cream on top… Weird. Got us a bad tea as well. An that’s for like 150 eur.
